It took me three days of seeing that t-shirt to eventually realise that's NOT the correct spelling of "LINKIN PARK".

"KNKIN PARK" :thumbsupdroid:
Must be one of those obscure bands who nobody else has heard of.....

I have no idea what to think about this.

From United Press International (UPI)
Are we living in a giant hologram?

Two more press releases:

This is a sketch of the timeline of the holographic Universe. Time runs from left to right. The far left denotes the holographic phase and the image is blurry because space and time are not yet well defined. At the end of this phase (denoted by the black fluctuating ellipse) the Universe enters a geometric phase, which can now be described by Einstein's equations. The cosmic microwave background was emitted about 375,000 years later. Patterns imprinted in it carry information about the very early Universe and seed the development of structures of stars and galaxies in the late time Universe (far right).

The first observational evidence that the universe could be a hologram has been published in the journal Physical Review Letters. The international study may lead to new beliefs on the Big Bang Theory and on quantum gravity, one of theoretical physics' most profound problems.

I just fell in. After ten years if getting about three free HDTV channels, I went to the cable office, got two cable boxes and signed up for the cheapest TV lineup to go with my existing internet connection. I am so frikkin modern...

Noooooo!

I cut the cord years ago... I'm perfectly fine reading books, while Dngrswife watches Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

If you complain long enough, loud enough, and to enough people, things will happen. Eventually.

To @shalemail et al. A realization that is somewhat new to me, but becoming more relevant everyday.
I too suffer from the sadness. Inescapable. Malignant. Incurable. Sometimes helps to laugh though.

Laughter does help, as does perspective. Honestly there's so much going on in the world that I'm thankful to be out of the line of fire. I count my blessings, count them again, and resign myself to the comfort of knowing my pluses and minuses and accepting that the pluses are greater.

Was looking at that on Engadget.

That one made me chuckle, when I saw it in a Beijing hotel lift yesterday. I believe correct English translation should be "Spicy beautiful pig trotters", that's what it says in Chinese.
