Why am I still here? I survived cancer a few years back and except for the high when I got the all clear. I've fallen back into my humdrum ways. Nothing really going on in my life. Now I'm watching a good friend going through shit because her dad's been diagnosed with terminal. Honestly, him sticking around for her would be better than me still being here. I don't get life sometimes.

Would not your still being here be of comfort to your friend, a living symbol of hope for her dad's prognosis? Not to mention you can provide insight into what they can both expect in the near future vs-a-vis symptoms, side-effects, et al.

When I was a College DJ (Starchild) on WDOM. I went to the record stores in Downtown Providence and asked them to give me the latest records. Payola was dead in the1970s.
