Random Thought Thread

Well when the Labour government took control in the UK in 91 i think, over the conservatives, they had the logo, "New Labour, New Deal". Duno if thats connected. The Labour party in UK are like the mainstream/left wing party. They used to be kinda socialist but now theyre more centred. The Conservative party is in power now which is just great *sarcasm* in a time where public spending has to be cut brutaly to fix what the irresponsible capitalists broke :(

I had the nicest birthday message I think I have ever had....I hate FB and I rarely check it but my friend was all read your birthday posts on your wall.. blah blah..same stuff different day..old HS friends some nice posts,,,some a little catty....and I see I have this PM. So I read it and it was the best gift I could have received! It was from a guy I went to middle school and high school with..He was kind of a nerd..well not kind of..he was...he probably was bullied and didn't have the greatest HS experience...altough I always liked him ..and I Didn't really pay attention to the social order etc..although I guess I prob was viewed as one of the popular ding dongs...I could care less ...I hated stupid HS bit**es and Jock Do**ch bags...I pretty much was oblivious anyway;)

anywho he sent me a message saying that as he looked back on his MS and HS years he always would think of me...and how I stood out in his memories and he wanted to thank me... I made it bearable for him because he considered me one of the few people who he counted as a his friend and that I was one of the sweetest most genuine people he has ever known..

I felt so humbled..and honored...I teared up...it was perhaps the nicest thing anybody has ever said to me:)
