Hey does anyone know anything about the GS3 and its gorilla glass? I thought it was supposed to be super strong and durable, however, some of my friends who have the case have literally dropped it less then 2in from their hand onto a counter and their screen is cracked...also another person i know dropped it out of their pocket and had like a 2-3ft fall and his screen is completely destroyed; still viewable and see through, but really annoying and not appealing...wtf?!

Anyone know anything about this?

Gorilla Glass is only suppose to help with scratch resistance. That way if it's in the same pocket as your keys and they happen to scrape the screen, it will remain pristine. A device falling, especially in a sensitive area like a corner, can produce more impact/trauma than the glass has the capability to withstand. It might be more durable, but glass is glass.

I don't know anything about gorilla glass, sorry. I think it is supposed to be scratch resistant, but not sure about shatter proof..? I've dropped my phone from a few feet before (on to carpet) and it's fine.

OK, two issues here: I'm really not that old (don't argue or I'll hit you with my walker) and second, 'huge daycare center for seniors' is longer than 'office'.
 
Has this ever happened to anyone? i just :smokingsomb:d and like, i cant be sure but i think in the future we may invent a form of time travel coz someone/thing replaced whatever i was :smokingsomb: with maybe... what i can only imagine was a lil bit of poop :( like i just had to puke in a glass! And the only person who would travel back in time just to :smokingsomb: me a bit of poo poo would be.... me! :confused:
