I've never had a white Christmas :(

It's only fun if you are visiting... nothing so depressing as having to shovel your drive so you can go to work the day after Christmas.

Much as Dngrswife likes the desert, she'd kill to be able to live down your way again...

Unfortunately, I'd have to find a job that pays twice what I'm making now just to be able to afford it.

For me, traveling is fun... having ahome to return to is awesome, though.

I left my home at 17, and after being away for a few years it stopped being home. :/

So now, home is where I lay my hat, and currently, my hat is sun-faded and covered in dust.

Someday, I'll be able to afford to move somewhere with seasons again... someone around here is going to have to win the lottery or something for that to happen, though.

Wait!!! you're in Chicago??hahaha!!! it snows just the same there as it does here! Maybe even more if you are by Lake Michigan! you're only 4 hours away from me! you're pretty much my neighbor..right in my backyard....

HEY! get off my lawn!!:D:D..

lol, yeah, I'm just a few miles from Lake Michigan. It can get cold, but summer months is just too hot and humid, and that's my most unfavorite weather.

San Antonio is much worse. I'm 23 and still am trying to get my license. I am tired of drivers cutting me off and causing me to fail my driving tests.

O wow I guess that's just Texas.
Its not that bad we don't have a lot of humidity its more of a dry heat and our winters are cold we get more ice then snow

Depends on what part of the state you are at... Houston is humid a all get out, while El Paso is literally in the desert.

Got to work 10 pm-5am today. I now see what our fellow AF members meant when they said working and remaining heavily active in the forums is difficult lol

But hey i got 56 hours in a week and a half! :D

Oh and whenever you go to Taco Bell for your oh so yummy food, be sure to donate $1 to end world hunger! (if your local taco bell is participating)

Since I've been working and got a girlfriend now, I haven't had much time for anything else, but I have found something rare and valuable today.. Spare time.

So what's the latest big gossip around the forums? :)

I didn't mind night shift so much, but that was when I was single... too much stuff requiring my attention that necessitates me being awake during the daytime now.

I was to I just didn't like how one wk I was 5 days 8 hours to next wk 4/10. It always switched. I couldn't ever get on a schedule so I went back to days.
