Random Thought Thread

Wait.... That means "the fifth of the fourth"; please tell me that this is an intentional joke and not some group of asshat 'mericans further debasing a largely American-made pseudo-holiday.
 
Does anyone know the cross quarter day that I am missing. A cross quarter day marks the midpoint of a season.
We have: Fall - Halloween
Winter - Ground Hog day
Spring - May Day
Summer - ????

The missing one should be around August 1st.

I'm all proud of myself... Because whilst Hubby is in Vegas for some convention thingy
I decided to make a proper outside bar!! Ha!! I'm going to get shelving a mini fridge some beer signs on the walls etc etc etc:D
I made a tip jar too!! Why yes... Yes I do think I'm clever and sly:)
I'm thinking... Holiday in Ireland .. You know in honor of pubs and stuff...orrrrrrrr maybe I should do Hawaii .. Tiki bar it

Does your husband happen to be an accountant? If so, I'm probably sitting in the same room with him right now.

nope...he's in innovation stuff..If I left finances up to him...oh the horror:eek:

Anyone here think/hope the Galaxy s4 locked bootloader will get exploited one day? I think an exploit might get leaked soon.... Any thoughts.?. Random thoughts?... :confused:
 
Samsung Galaxy S4, that's one of the more exploitable, rootable, and custom ROM supported devices. Plenty of information for that device. Unless you've got some obscure version? I have thought about getting a second hand S4, just for the purposes of experimenting, hacking and study. The things are plentiful enough. Even Oppo makes a ColorOS ROM for the S4, so can have it just like my Find 7a... :D

Are you talking about Knox?

I have my S4 tri-band rooted (though on a much older firmware), but will probably upgrade to Lollipop when it comes OTA. Then I will have to trip Knox to root it again... By then, the warranty will be expired, though.

Yeah I'm using a verizon galaxy s 4 on straight talk service. It has been updated once from the original mdk build, so the Loki exploit won't work. So basically no custom ROMs & no custom recovery like I was hoping when the phone was given to me because it was completely busted I couldn't turn it on to see what build it was until I order the screen and battery. I'm also rooted and I believe this is a triband. well I just know that I have three options, gsm, CDMA, and some other one lol
