That looks like one of those bridges where as soon as there's a bit of wind they have to close it, or stop large trucks and buses ("high sided vehicles") using it.
 
Ah, not like the Severn Bridge, UK then, opened in 1966, bit of wind there, and it used to mean a 40 mile round trip to get to the other side. I know, because I had to cross that bridge every day for work.

But they built a second Severn Bridge in the 90s, and that one can stay open, better design.
 
The deck at center span of the Big Mac deflects up to 35' (just over 10 meters) during acceptably high winds, deflection is damped by the weight of traffic. Baffled ventilators along the sides along with a dual purpose water drain/air spill running on the roadway help keep taller vehicles from acting like sails.

I used to drive the Big Mac a few times a week.
