The X-Files returns for 6 episodes starting next Sunday on Fox.
I wonder if there is a chance for more than just six?
The truth is out there.THEY want you to think there is only 6.........
I hope so because, as it turns out, the cake is a lie.The truth is out there.
But I want to believe!I hope so because, as it turns out, the cake is a lie.
Go ask Alice, I think she'll know. But I want to believe!

We can put a man on the moon, and have fantastic technology these days, yet we can't invent a humane mouse trap that works 100%.![]()
Ferrets, skunks and snakes work, too.A cat is about as close as you can get....

I honestly don't know what that meansDammit! People *have* to know I ran a 16k PB. They must be interested in that!![]()
Ya...well personally I'm not on Twitter or Facebook or MySpace...personally this forum, and a few others, are enough Social Media for meAre you on Twitter? I am, but I've noticed that people follow me, in the hope that I will follow them back. When I don't, they unfollow me. So is it the goal on Twitter to attract as many followers as possible, thereby boosting your importance in the world? Personally I only follow accounts which I'm actually interested in reading what they have to say e.g. Java dev groups, Gadget show, or a couple of running groups. I don't really want my Twitter feed clogged up with what Joe in London is having for breakfast.
Some accounts I've had to mute, because they tweet so much stuff, that's all I see. And if you have to mute someone, what's the point in following them?

)I'm gonna take a wild guess that "PB" mean "personal best".
(did I win?)

Just saying

I am not a fan of social media. I have Twitter to follow news and events. I have tumbler because a buddy travels the world and that's where I can follow him. I do not have book of faces, or any of that noise. I have kept in touch with everyone I care about, why would I need some online method of doing what I already do?![]()
Well a good use of it is to keep in touch with relatives who are far away, mainly by sharing urban legends and conspiracy theories and silly pictures of cats.
I completely agree!I think at some point, in the not too distant future, I'll give up on this social media thing. I find electronic communication a very poor substitute for actually talking to someone. For a start, a high proportion of human communication is non verbal (facial expression, body language). You lose all that with electronic comms. Humour is always a tricky thing in emails, or forums, I find.
I've actually fallen out with people on FB over misunderstandings, so for me it's an ANTI-social media

True, but you can also use email and phone calls to do the same thing.Well a good use of it is to keep in touch with relatives who are far away, mainly by sharing pictures of the kids or things you did.

Personally, that is how I keep in touch with friends of mine that are far away.
