Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

dang it! ..stupid lap top just burned my thigh!:rolleyes:!

guess that'll learn me to wear a skirt when it's running so hot!:o

Reason number 3 why I don't wear skirts. :rolleyes:

I don't like it when Tapatalk throws my reply into an entirely different discussion.

I am really irritated when a simple task (changing brake pads) turns into an all-day operation (broken wheel stud), compounded by the fact that I don't have a vehicle to go to the parts store. :mad:

I quit smoking over a year ago. Altough I had been smoking for many years, I faced no problems quiting.
This morning I found a box, half full in a drawer. I was convinced my house was cigarette free. It concerns me how disturbed I felt all day, almost attacked in a careless moment.
 
People who feel the need to always be talking. its like they dont understand that you can think INSIDE your head and thats what us quiet people are doing while not talking. The noisy people ARENT doing anyone a favour by "breaking the silence" with brainless chitchat :beer:

Actually it works either way... :rolleyes:

My wife instructed one of our kids to check the bikes before we left on vacation to make sure the tires were all inflated (I have a large compressor); that didn't happen, and now I have a bicycle with two flat tires and no inflation device.
 
We have 2 fires now burning. One at the Royal Gorge and one in the Black Forest.

Last year it was Waldo Canyon, and Ft. Carson a couple of times.

One in Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park.

People around here have got to learn to mitigate for fires, and live with drought.
 
Sometimes mother nature starts the fires herself, we just happen to be in the way of the natural order. :)

Not making light of any folks loosing their homes or properties mind you.
 
Human nature is.... natural and our species evolved naturally so whatever we create, even a nuclear warhead is, unfortunately, nature :beer:
 
No rain for quite a few days.

Probably someone just doing normal farm/maintenance work - Pull a stump, chain hits a rock and sparks. Everything drier than normal here.

I hope no one was burning trash.
