Its absurd the level of stupidity exhibited by today's traveling public. Thank god we had the road closed and traffic was not traveling at speed. Someone would have been hurt really bad or worse. :(
 
No, I don't feel any obligation to explain why we don't have kids.
No, I don't hate kids simply because we don't have any. (I love kids, spoiling them by any chance I get)
No, being without kids doesn't automatically mean I have more time on my hands.
No, having kids is no excuse for having every one visiting you. Kids are mobile and can have a great time elsewhere too.
No, having kids doesn't mean every conversation has to be about them.
 
And oh yeah. We feel fine about how things are, our relationship is more than okay, complete with 'just' the two of us, so stop worrying.

Fire spread - now 2 deaths and reports of looters. Worst fire in state history - over 360 homes lost.

What is wrong with these idiots? Looters appeared after the tornados, we had some after Waldo Canyon, and now here?
 
So my parent's friends have sold their shop and moved houses - sound simple enough. They managed to make the move by declaring bankruptcy, Idek how this works...

While they were in the process of moving, they moved all their crap into our house, came over for dinner and then immediately went and often came over again just to watch TV.

This would seem fine if they often repaid the favours but no. Driving to my house everyday is just about ok, but taking me to an exam is wayy too much (so I was dropped off at school and left to make my own way back).

Another example is that they dumped their TV here so they have proof of not owning a TV, and don't have to pay for a TV licence...

And they often just let themselves into my house, don't bother to ring the bell or ring us to see if we're are doing anything.

And of course I dont really like these people.

Am I being unreasonable? My dad (who is the kind of person that will give and give and never ask for anythign in return) even gave them our old Sky box , which doesn't make sense as I thought they had no tv, but still.

*phew*

end rant.
 
Neighbours who are DIY experts grind my gears.

Neighbour - You just put felt on your shed roof?
Me - Aye
Neighbour - It doesn't look very professional.
Me - Does it look like it will stop the stuff in my shed from getting wet when it rains?
Neighbour - Yes, but....
Me - Then it's professional enough for me pal, see ya!

I've got the nosey neighbor that always has to tell you how you're doing it wrong, or what you should do. After being in the neighborhood for almost three years, I finally told her to keep her opinions to herself. It didn't work.

I generally consider myself to be a fair and kind individual, but this lady is driving my wife crazy, and that drives me crazy.

One neighbour told me that the neighbour on my other side was totally weird, not to be trusted and more. Without reason.
Soooo... I decided to get to know that neighbour. Form my own opinion.
Which went smoothly... since we ended up married :D

Truck is in the shop. I need it back for work monday and I have no idea if it'll be done. :(

They've had it since yesterday morning.....Starting to get worried.....The longer they have it, the larger the bill.....

I had one - told her nothing of mine was any of her %^%$ business. That stopped Mrs. Nosy in her tracks. She was doubly pesty since my favorite retort to any personal question is "None of your business" Been that way since elementary school.
