Is Canadian a language?

It's like US English and British English. Same basic language, but different jargon and idioms. Though French is also a big language in Canada. I hear a lot of Canadian where I live and have way more Canadian change than I should. I hate getting Canadian coins back because you can't use them in vending machines

A mix of US and British English? That isn't too difficult actually, in my honest opinion.

I find too many Americans have insufficient grasp of their own language... of course I am being facetious about the language thing... Mexico and Canada being our only two neighbors, it would almost make sense to have Spanish and maybe French (though French is mostly spoken in the Quebec region in the east, if I recall correctly) as somewhat compulsory in border states.

But, of course, American education is teh suck, and very few people are interested in actually educating our collective young.

Katt, did you have to learn French, as well (assuming my rough idea of European geography is correct and the Netherlands border up with French-speaking states on the west)?

We used to drive underwater to spend our loonies on a two-four so we could consume at 18 eh..

Germany in the east, Belgium and France in the south, the UK in the west. So yeah, learned german, english and french in school. Even in college. (Belgians speak dutch and french.)
Having friends/family in Norway, so learned some norwegian too.

I think God is laughing at me. I made a comment on here earlier about how much I hate getting Canadian coins back because you can't use them in vending machines. So I pay for my lunch in cash, and get 82 cents back. I look at the coins and I have two Canadian Quarters and a Canadian Nickel. REALLY?

I had a canadian girlfriend for 4years here in scotland. It was hilarious when she started using scottish slang with canadian accent :D
We got forced to learn french in school because they were building the channel tunnel at the time and aparently a lot of us would be working in france :banghead:
They shoulda taught us chinese :)

My laptop blew out sparks and smoke from the vent a while back... my hard drive totally fried itself but I got it repaired since I had insurance on it. They replaced my hard drive and I lost most of my theme work  mine sounds like a fighter jet every time I play dead space 3 :D
