speaking of....I hate when they put all the merchandise out months before the actual event..there was back to school stuff already out the end of June! and..I'm sure Halloween stuff will be out there any day now! actually come to think if it I've seen some Thanksgiving and Halloween stuffed all incognito and wrapped up in lame Autumn theme disguises!
Oh and Season's Greetings...because I already saw Christmas lights and decorations starting to spew out on the shelves!!!

the only solace that I find in all the madness is that it just means that I'm deceptively closer to next year's "Holiday" than I thoughtarty:
It's called Christmas in July, and it's big here. I ignore it. The supermarkets keep it to one aisle, and the quilt shops don't bother. For the rest, I will use the internet. This town has nothing I want.
Michael's is good at it. They probably have a full aisle of Halloween stuff out and will change to Christmas by the end of the month.
Some of these retailers have tried to go one-up for so long, that they don't realize they are killing the real Christmas season for a lot of shoppers.
