Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

It really grinds my gears that I can NOT pick out a decent horror movie to put on the instant Netflix queue to save my life! I really suck at this, and everytime it is my turn to pick the movie, it is horrible! My daughter picks really well, and my husband....well......maybe my choices aren't the worst after all.

I often look at Netflix for movie recommendations, but as Netflix downloads and streaming are United States only, and I'm in China.........

How scary do you want it?

That Daniel Ratcliff movie was good... not pee-your-pants scary, but not crappy like The Ring was.

I don't know...very little creeps me out. Actually, the one thing that does creep me out is whenever James Falco smiles.
 
They are all way too predictable, once it's been done, and done well, you know what to expect, so the whole 'horror' issue just doesn't come to fruit.
 
I haven't seen a horror flick since It (1990'ish, me thinks?)

On a side note, I hate being the best man to my best friend's wedding. Too much responsibility that I don't want lol.

I'm seeing that a lot lately, too. I don't have Samsung, but the Motorola Atrix models I have should certainly be compatible, so I'm kind of lost. :confused:
 
Use of the word "tweeted". Something like this from the BBC.

'The interior ministry tweeted that an evacuation of the entire airport was under way,'

Makes them sound like a friggin' budgie.

EDIT:

I really object to it because this was from BBC World, which for many readers and listeners English is a second language, and many of them won't be familiar with Twitter.

My students would look it up in their dictionaries and see this...

Dude I had the Banana Phone II... the Banana App Store suuucks!! :p ;)

Well my S4 is arriving today... I figured that if it didn't work out I could always return it and try out some other suggestions. I hear you about having to sell an organ... only reason I could afford to get mine was because it was my Verizon 2 year upgrade.
