Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Almost everyone puts their pants on one leg at a time the way I do. Being polite is one thing - you have to earn respect.

Well if I am reading you right buddy I disagree! ;)

No.

I don't agree with you.

Not always the case.

Respect should be a god given right and the absolute truth is that everyone should respect everyone else at the end of the day but of course this is not the case and thus the world is big huge freaking mess because of the lack of care and respect for our fellow man.

Why should respect some one because they drive a big ass Ferrari?

What if that same man beats his son to a pulp when he gets home because he is such a **** head and crazy?

Some one could be a hobo on the streets but they could have have had such a hard life and no one can know just how hard his / hers really was because you have not lived their life so you have no idea of how hard things could have been for him / her.

So how do you just don't know even how hard some one's life may have been.

Respect should be given.

If people would just give their respect and show each other that we can all do better in life and that you are the better man / woman and show someone that you already know you are not the bees knees (god) the world would be a much happier place with more optimism.

You should not have to "earn" respect.

If people were nicer it should not have to matter.

Unfortunately this is Earth and some people are insane and will force to do what they want you to do and will never listen to anyone no matter how hard you try to explain your rights to them.

The hard part comes in when you get an insane foaming at the mouth lunatic that does not (and will not) respect your rights.

Some people will harm you... wether it be physically, psychologically or what ever way they want to hurt you... and those ones... those are the 1's that are dangerous to your well being and they are the ones that need asylum...

Completely agree.

I will be polite and treat everyone respectfully. It's the right thing to do.

However, true respect is earned. It's more then being polite. It's being willing to listen, learn and connect with a person on a deeper level. Being able to turn to that person for honest and soul searching advice. This level of respect is not just given out freely.

... and Godwin's Law once again is proved.

Although in one of its early forms Godwin's law referred specifically to Usenet newsgroup discussions,[4] the law is now often applied to any threaded online discussion, such as forums, chat rooms and blog comment threads, and has been invoked for the inappropriate use of Nazi analogies in articles or speeches.[5] The law is sometimes invoked prescriptively to mark the end of a discussion when a Nazi analogy is made, with the writer who made the analogy being considered to have lost the argument.
In 2012, "Godwin's Law" became an entry in the third edition of the Oxford English Dictionary.[6]

Can I quote you on that?

I never lose:)
You Fail:D

This drunk black man came in tonight to McDonalds. He ordered a McDouble. Then he came back and asked for 2 cookies, but he only had enough for 1 cookie, so I only charged him for one, and gave him one. He then ask for another cookie for free, but I wouldn't give him one. He then goes off to tell me that I am a racist, and he starts a scene, and the manager calls the cops on him.
Is a cookie really worth that? I mean, a $0.50 cookie?

Wooooow... some people are crazy.

Hectic.

I can see you were actually very nice and understanding.

Well done. :)

It is a shame why he did that though.

Google Play "This app is not compatible with your device" even though my device is a Samsung and I've proved that the apps are compatible.

That one has been grinding my gears lately.

Shopping for laptops... you have a fixed budget, but feature creep makes one want to go over that budget something fierce.

By the time you make your purchase, you no longer like the model you decided to buy. :what:

Consider this post thanked 1 million times.
Aww thanks!

Another complaint. Someone orders a ice cream cone in a cup. I give then a cone in a cup, them they say they didn't want that, they wanted a sundae, which is exactly the same thing, just remove the cone. She wants her money back! All $0.53

Sounds eerily similar to the ones that come in with a coupon but want something else instead and their a fit when they can't exchange the coupon for what they would rather have.
