Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Do you know what else grinds my gears? When the foods you love give you the runs, and you're stuck on the toilet for 20 minutes. And when you think you're done and reach for the toilet paper, here comes rounds 2, 3, and 4.

And if you run out of toilet paper midway, seeing only a small bit left on a brown roll, you're screwed. :mad:

thanks peeps, Clairlogik is on the laptop looking at flats (apartments) and we have money for a deposit.. its gona be hard to find a place that will allow pets though.. we wanted to move out before winter anyway but not this fast and it comes at a really awkward time for me. Our landlord ((Mr Knobb) is living up to his name lol. Ill make him sorry :)
 
Itl be cool peeps... it always is.. anyway at end of septemberr i might be getting put into a BIG house with free rent and food. Dont think theyl let me bring clair and the pets though :D
In other rants: having a FB argument with someone who is sitting right beside u lol :D
 
Just managed to cut four of the cats claws lol! Last night i got five... cant believe ive been trained to do this on other animals and fail when its mine lol.. the cat is a psycho. Id lose too much blood to survive if i was a vet nurse :banghead::D
 
I always found small electrical clippers worked best. I had a polydactyl cat that didn't have much room to get at what would be the thumb claw. Used clippers and they worked better.
 
Right, i just use human nail clippers and yeah the thumb is hard but its holding her thats hardest, even with a towel round her shes a pretty big powerful cat. Now shes hiding so ill have to wait til tomorrow to try again lol :)

I don't think Princess Razorfang Scissorpaws :) would approve of anything electrical being used near her. She gets annoyed enough about having her paws handled for nail trims with regular clippers.

Reminds me, she's due. Yay.
 
My family sucks. All year they have been complaining about me not having my driving licence. So I get my permit, but no one is willing to go out of their way to let me drive, and they don't trust me to drive on the highway.
 
Today.....
People who are lax. I'm still waiting to hear re this new job, I've given in my notice, as of today I'm unemployed, I've run around like an idiot and done everything I can and yet no one has been in contact with me. I got a text the other day saying they'd been asked to give a reference for me, which cheered me a bit things are being chased, but then she text saying that the girl dealing with it is now out of the office til the 19th. I just wish someone would be courteous and ring and say "all going through, just waiting for blah, everything still good to go" but I've heard NOTHING and its seriously freaking me out. I don't wanna seem like I'm nagging but it's killing me not hearing anything IF I ave this job then I start on 2nd Sept but I know nothing at all and if I haven't got the job then I could be using this time finding another. I'm getting really stressed, supposed to be off for the summer having time with my daughter but feeling jangled.
And also forgetting my password. I made a new gmail account and I can't for the life of me even come close to guessing the password and the recover bit isn't happening either!!

We just refer to them as "dikes" and I couldn't remember the right name.
For cutting wires and not powered. There are evtremely small ones for jewelry making.

We have to be VERY QUIET when we take out the ... (dare I say it? I hope she is not listening! :() ... "clippers" other wise she FREAKS OUT and runs for the hills!

Shame my poor stinky little pork chop... she was a rescue dog and very timid when we first got her... could not even pick up a stick... and she would just bolt scared in the corner of the garden..... sigh my girl.
