Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Awww Stinky. :-( my heart breaks. Sadly I understand, and yet wish no one ever understood all at the same time. Make sense? No? OK, I usually don't anyway. Just know someone on the other side of the globe cares!
 
It seems like it always happens like this for day's on end..constant barrage of requests...I swear , If one more person asks me to do something for them...or "would you mind...
or I hate to ask...but... or can you.. could you..would you..will you...I'm going to scream!!!!!!!

I have 19, 15, & 6. All boys, but I don't think it matters. They and their friends know everything about everything. And if they don't know it, it isn't important. This age is the hardest part to navigate and is made far easier by the foundation established prior. Sounds like you set a good one. Good luck.:)

Dont envy you lol, but you're right, as her and her friends know more than i thought they did. Ive had to "ban" her from certain friends because of the way they were (promiscuous at 13) and their attitudes. Luckily my daughter wasn't like them, but i think the defensiveness of that situation stuck with her, hence the attitudes... We moved from that city too and started fresh, as the bullying was getting out of hand.

I don't read EULAs. Heck, I didn't even read the Windows XP Professional KN/N EULA.

I only read EULAs for like important apps. Not operating systems. For operating systems thar all the same; why bother pressing F8 50 times to read it?
Also, I scroll through the EULA when I get system updates for my PS3 c;

ok so I don't mind hosting Thanksgiving...even though I basically had no choice because everyone else had some excuse as to why they couldn't....I don't nor do I ever mind when you start inviting other people that have no place to go...after all..that's what it's all about! but when I graciously open my house and cook a very large meal for everyone and say I'm happy to do it, but please understand I'm still not 100 percent moved in..things are still in moving redoing and construction stages I have kids..a new puppy..had oral surgery...out of town guests..diving on bombs..saving the world...etc etc.:rolleyes:..and I really I don't have everything including utensils , cookware, heck even some furniture..so I say it will be casual but of course I'll step up...and everyone is welcome..bring a dish to pass...let's have fun..laid back and no pressure...happy to do it...

and:mad::mad::mad:now I'm getting lambasted!! "Oh...well you ARE making grandma's stuffing right??(takes days to stale the breads and hours to chop everything in the morning) oh.....and what about the home made cranberry sauce?? and can you babysit my one year old the day before?...and what do you mean 2 oclock ? but the Lions game starts at one...we'll miss some of it while driving to your house....ARE YOU KIDDING ME????????
and yes:o I ran out got the stupid special breads and already cubed and am stailng it as I speak and making all the stupid extra little family traditional dishes..:rolleyes:..

but we are buffet it dang it!!!!and listen to the game on the stupid radio on the way over... OH andI WILL HAVE PAPER CUPS AND NAPKINS and whatever else is easier for me..like it or not....oh and lots and lots of wine like it or not..:)


on a side note:) who else here brines their turkey?
