Rant: Apple religion!! Oh my does this seriously grind my gears. I am a junior in high school and trust me when I say that probably 85% of this school has iphones. Its annoying to look around and see nothing but iPhone everywhere! Society too! What I dont understand is the hipsters that defend the product like they're some sort of mad bulldog. I might not like the product but if you encounter one of these apple hounds then its just ugly how much they can bit*h about how any other product is inferior to their aluminum case of wasted operating system. However I have pushed checkmate on some before because of features they cant come close to, still they exist and some of them love to push android into the ground with complaints. "My cousin has an android and its really slow, android is terrible" NO! omg seriosuly there is a massive difference between buying a cheap android and a high end one, plus we have more options anyway. Have you seen what IOS 7 has done to previous iphones ipods and ipads? THEYRE SLOW! Its almost as if you can see the beads of sweat on apples updates to perfect the art of planned obsolescence. Another thing I really dont understand?? Teens love to have control more than anything. Wth are you using an iPhone for?? Android is all about control! Ios is so restrictive I cant believe it! "Oh dude I jailbroke my iPod and I can do this now!" Oh thats cute you root an android and you can DO ANYTHING. Mod the OS completely, load a new OS, anything youve ever wanted to do to your device and here you are wondering why your iphone 4 is lagging over homescreens running your precious IOS 7. Wake up users! If you want a powerful expirience and pure sophisticated beauty look to getting an android! I mean even if you want it to be simple then launch easy mode on the Galaxy s4. If you want to customize your phones look buy the Moto X. Want the aluminum chassis? Look to HTC, and most of all if you dont like one look of android, move to the next display in best buy and check out LG or HTC or even a NEXUS with pure android. Please just consider the option! Thats my rant over my sore gears that have been grinded so many times.

I agree dude... but then again I see even the current devices that also run android with no removable ram, cpu and many other stuff that is extremely wasteful.
1 part decides to go under you need to throw away half of China's still operational tech... very wasteful society these days...

Because manufacturers don't want you to buy 1 small part... they want you to buy a whole new phone so they can buy that new indoor mountain range they always wanted.

I agree. While I DID have to buy that shi**y iPhone 5S for my class GSM project...they ugly. I mean the moving wallpapers that you can't change are ew. CDMA versions of the 5 won't run on LTE band 4! Osea que pedo?! I need LTE. I can't do crap with 3G+. Also, what's with people complaining about the lag?! You signed up for this when you bought an Apple product. Yes; there are BAD Android devices, BUT. If you look at the Samsung Galaxy S4 or the HTC One Google Play editions, or if you look at it with CyanogenMod, you get LOADS OF SPEED AND CUSTOMIZATION! Why can't they at least research phones BEFORE they complain?

We have Android fanboys who are just as obnoxious, and a heckuva lot more MS pc fanboys. All are freaking annoying. And if you are into photography, there's a Canon/Nikon war.
I'd like to kluge together:
A reall fast processor to open up data heavy apps fast.
An SD card slot
A phone that will take the organization of BB, the durability of Symbian Nokia, Google or IOS apps and the ease of sync and backup of the old Palm PDAs.
Also run a neutral OS that would run anything from anywhere.
And a removable battery.
I'd like to kluge together:

I just could not STAND Access for very long... wooooow man...
I just cannot understand how Micro$oft / MicroPork has survived for so long?
It is like some kind of miracle and I struggle to figure it out.
MicroPork have made some awesome software do not get me wrong - just for example I believe WP 7 and 8 are marvels of a Mobile Operating system and I just cannot believe how unappreciated 7 and 8 are (or were?
).I also couldn't believe the trouble I have had trying to get just simple bluetooth to work on WINDOWS 7 and on Ubuntu I did not have to do 1... single.... thing...

I am starting to see drivers and all that are not very good at all for Windows but for Linux it worked straight away.
That is scary for software you pay for when the (better) opposition that is completely FOSS have it sorted already!

In a way MicroPork really REALLY grind my gears because bluetooth still just does not work on here but they did also give me 1 easy ride into the Digital World.
And for that I am grateful.

Why should we? I don't fill out half the crap elsewhere unless it's someplace where I use a credit card. I never have, and if someone insists, bye-bye. There's always another store.

I know it's weird, but some people actually come to the Android phone forum to, you know, ask for help with their Android phone.
Having which phone they have listed in their profile helps the people trying to help them because they sometimes neglect to mention that in their question.I like that hamburger phone from Juno.
