Ever done something that you just regret doing afterwards? I keep trying to tell myself that nothing bad happened, no real consequences but the thought keeps popping up in my head, and trying to forget it is much harder than I thought.
Ben there, done that, many a time.

OK... ranting is one thing... let's not turn things in to a political debate though, OK?![]()
It's the denial that obscures the moving forward, it is what it is,accept that it happened, make amends and move on.
What grinds my gears... Having a clogged ear for almost two weeks and no remedies have helped!
RedBear's Evo 3D
You're boss looks like something borrowed from Western Culture (kind of like Hanna-Barberra's Yogi Bear); thanks for the cheering up, and I'll keep everyone posted - LW
Yeh I'm working for Yogi Bear.Cartoon character costumes like that are often used for promotions in shopping malls etc. Hanna Barbera, Loony Tunes and Disney characters, all unlicensed of course. Although I don't think Xilinhot Bear is an exact copy of Yogi, his nose is a different colour and his ears are smaller...but still smarter than the average bear.
Donald Duck was arrested for extortion in Beijing last year. He was scamming tourists and demanding money with menaces.
Cell phone plans. Hardest choice anyone will ever have to make.
Let's hope life won't treat you with any more difficult dilemmas than this![]()
Lol. First world problems. But really. Carriers just don't offer enough for what I believe I should be paying. It's 2014 and these plans, none of them even come close to impressing me.
Here's what will.
$50 a month + phone payments divided up by 12, 18, or 24 month payments.
Unlimited data, text, talk!!!! (For up to 5gb. Then data slows down for the remainder of the month.
What's so hard about that?
When it comes to cell phone plans, you notice a hierarchy within the business itself; the low-priced, no-contract plans (for example, Boost - one of many carriers that piggyback on Sprint) where call drops are the norm, as you go from tower to tower - I have Boost, and my fianc
Lol. Thanks for that post. I found it amusing. And yes, there is a bit of corporate greed, and yes its for good reason.. Surely if I'm paying $110 a month for a phone , I better not get any dropped calls.
If I'm paying $35 a month, surely I can expect some setbacks. I'm in the big city of Chicago. So its not in the middle of nowhere. Unless I travel but that doesn't matter because AT&T doesn't have ANY service where I travel to.
I don't think I have a credit rating. I never had a credit card.
You can listen to the 'live credit free' pundits on talk radio, or, if you're 18 +, and work making a decent wage, pay your bills on time, and have a checking & savings account - go to your bank first, to apply for a credit card; if that bird doesn't fly, try applying for any credit card; you may start off with a small credit limit and a higher interest rate, but if you make small purchases, and pay the credit card balance off every month - the credit card company's gonna say "Hmm... we gotta make some money off of this individual!" So, they'll raise your credit limit. Keep playing the 'pay-it-off-every-month' game, and be assiduous with it. You'll notice that your mailbox will have envelopes that say "You're Pre-Approved" on them. Check 'em out, and see if those credit cards'll have lower interest rates. If they do, call your current credit card company, and tell them that 'Freen Master Card' offered you an X % interest rate, and would they match it to keep your business? Most times, they will - and they may even raise your credit limit once again. It is at this time that you need to remain vigilant, and make wise buying decisions. Most Americans are credit-strong, and cash poor. I've walked that walk. Avoid it, at all costs - because you'll find yourself in a credit trap, with multiple cards paying the minimum monthly amounts, and somewhere in the distance, you'll hear 'The Big Credit Screaming Meemee' say: "GOTCHA" Bankruptcy, divorce, and other types of 'life mayhem' will ensue. Forewarned is forearmed...

The last thing I want is to be another person in debt.
And the bloodbrothers around the world said, 'Selah.'

LW, can you speak Mongolian? BTW what's "Selah", I know it's not Mandarin, and I don't think it's Mongolian.
AT&T issue here. McDonald's promises free Internet. That's if and when you get connected, and every 5 minutes you have to reconnect to the Internet. Free isn't always better. Might as well just to to Starbucks to use their Internet.
MickeyD's free wi-fi. Tried it. There's always 6-7 female Herefords on FarmersOnly.com; hell, I'm better off at home with 3G, and an Internet Booster... AT&T has been ripping people off since the advent of FSK (frequency shift keying; touch tone phones) in '70-'71. One good thing, however - Bell Labs developed Unix in the late '60s; without it, no Linux...
