Snow flurries that turned into 4" of accumulation yesterday. 10-14" of snow coming tonight. A storm on the horizon for Sunday night that they won't give specifics on, but expect to measure in feet.:banghead:

Fell free to send some of that precipitation our way-- we're about 10" down for the season, and could probably use 20" (though not all at once).

You guys have all that snow and hating it but we out here could actually use some rain...... we are in drought conditions...... atleast that's what our Govenor of Ca is saying

Just send me a fedex or UPS label and I'll gladly ship it your way.:p

Suddenly, I am twelve credits away from my AA... apparently now I need to take a linguistics course or two, philosophy, and another history class.

I may just try transferring everything to another school. :banghead:

So glad to hear she is doing better! :thumb:

I spoke to her for the first time by telephone in over a month this AM; they're giving her a trach with a checkvalve today or tomorrow, so that she'll be able to talk back. I'd like to thank everyone here for their support, 'cause I've really needed it. She finally made the turn; now, her immediate future hinges upon physical therapy, and when she's finally home - I'll be the happiest ever.

even our lakes are getting so low, t takes the fun out of fishing.

We got snow in NC last week, and it melted in four days. Thank goodness. Winter road maintenance in the Southeastern USA consists of a subcontractor with a plow, and a pickup truck filled with sand & Halite with two guys throwing it out the back by hand; well, it's not exactly like that, but it's close. When you don't get snow regularly during winter, the area is never ready for it. Especially in Georgia - where it isn't safe to be a weather anchorperson (chuckle) ...

Hope she gets home to you soon. It's been a lengthy ordeal. Hang in there.

funny how that happens isn't it...just watch....the day after you graduate they will revise the requirements and you would have taken that class or two for nothing:rolleyes::rolleyes:!!! Happened to me repeatedly! Although I did end up really liking Linguistics! Philosophy was fun too!! I took comparative religion for that extra History class that apparently I needed:mad:
yeah...My course counselor ?..or whatever her title was..told me I had to take a phys ed credit to graduate so together we looked at my options and my schedule in order to fit it in..She had me take self defense. It was fun, I liked it and I can disarm, immobilize, mame , kill anyone who tries to mess...:rolleyes::D whoops!! actually they taught us the best thing to do is to run away:p but If I HAVE to....I know some vulnerable parts:)
anywho:rolleyes: I'm rambling...I'm on self directed "sick day" long story but I fought the bread and the knife won:Dhahah!! oh yeah well back to my point...not that I have one or anything:D but when I did my graduation review thingy with the dean...it turned out that self defense did not count as a phys ed credit! um....

I fought it because the ding dong counselor is the one who got me in the class in the first place! I told the Dean I'd race him a 50 yard dash and if I won he had to sign off on it..it was physical education in a way...so... :P anyway.he told me to zip it and to slowly back away from his office, here is a letter of recommendation for grad school and happy graduation:D
I liked him...I should go visit!!

Thank you again, Gmash. She's sitting in a chair for the first time in over a month, and she's interacting well with the staff at Vibra Hospital in Thornton, CO. I'm able to breathe for the first time in a good while. Just so anyone knows, we're on page 666 here in 'What Really Grinds...' I hear some screech metal playing in the background...

I am glad things are looking up for her and you to , i will keep her and you in my prayers .

I have had 1 hell of a bad day....

This world seems really messed up sometimes... and it is hard to smile at times...

The 1 kid at work today was scoring (yeah kissing.....) 1 of the other girls and he is only 5 years old...

I can't believe how screwed up things are these days.... I did not know what to do after I saw this.....

The mother comes to collect her son and she I can see... well... she can see I don't look "just" that happy... so she asks whats wrong and... I tell her son was realy kissing / scoring or what ever the hell you want to call it one of the girls and then she burst into tears...... it was a very bad day for me oh my God....

I don't feel like "The Piper" - because this piper got no idea how to handle this crazy thing or how to deal with it.... wow what a terrible day today.

I have had 1 really horrible ******* miserable day - today is just not my day...

Bad days really really really grind my gears...

Ugh "The Piper"... this piper needs a good rest sigh :(
