Ugh, this day sucks. I work in a call center and the calls were back to back for over an hour. Suddenly, when it was almost time for my break, I get stuck on a 30 minute call. Today is not my day.

Ugh, this day sucks. I work in a call center and the calls were back to back for over an hour. Suddenly, when it was almost time for my break, I get stuck on a 30 minute call. Today is not my day.
The supervisor where i work tried to get me to work in the Call Center lol, i told her she didn't really want me to do that .... it is not for me. I dont know how you do it Ghost well i know because it pays the bills but puttin up with mad and people in bad moods all the time is not my gig

If you're in the "help" industry and familiar with linux/unix - you may get a chuckle or two out of the tales of the BOFH. I can't elaborate on the meaning of the acronym here due to language restrictions. 
If you're not a 'puter techie a lot of it would probably be meaningless though.

We've had a couple of warm days and snow is melting, and that's a good thing, but now potholes are grinding my gears. The roads around here are absolutely destroyed. Worst I've seen and I'm not exaggerating. Six cars were damaged by one big pothole last night and some major streets have whole lanes closed. I probably look like a drunk driver constantly swerving around holes lol. Crazy.
so...if i find you ...does that mean you will buy me dinner? because I'm pretty good at sleuthing
Not trying to sound immodest, but you don't have to sleuth me in Xilinhot. Being one of only two westerners in a city of 200,000, I'm not difficult to find, just ask any policeman or taxi driver(most of them should have my business card)...seriously.

Much of China the staple is pork. But this is Inner Mongolia(semi-arid steppe grasslands), no pigs, mostly sheep, cattle, donkeys, camels and horses(however we don't eat horse here). If you're veg in these parts, you might be limited to rice, noodles, potatoes, cabbage and steamed buns. Traditionally Mongolians are not farmers, they're semi-nomadic herdsmen, i.e. they don't grow much. So a good choice of vegetables often not a priority.

I'll often drink baijiu or wine in restaurants. Thing with much Chinese beer(lager), you can usually drink a lot of it, go to the WC a lot, while not getting particularly drunk, but still get a hangover
...similar to Budweiser really. I know English bitters are often served at near room temp, but prefer that lager is chilled, especially in summer.

My rant for the day, my girlfriends youngest decided to text my daughter and accuse her of stealing things when 1. She left two things here after staying the night and 2. She gave her those clothes, and turned out she wasn't supposed to and just trying to cover her butt with her mom. Wth? Done done and done.

The way that zippers seem to have the life expectancy of a mayfly these days. I try to avoid anything with them now.
:shot::shakehands::deal::security:I got tired of that stuff a long time ago. Now I have a frame based vehicle with 33" 8 ply off road capable tires. i don't even have to slow down for potholes
Or course that brings a rant as well. I drive right around the speed limit, no need to be in a race. So everyone else passes me then cuts in front of me then slams on the brakes for a pothole or speed bump.
