Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

She was fourteen years old; deaf and blind and stroke-stricken, but she was a very good dog.

My mother-in-law was taking care of her while we were on family vacation (taking our grandkids to their first theme-park).

The mother-in-law is petty good at healing animals, and in her care, Kharma did really good for a while, but it was her time. She was told that she could rest now, and she did.

This is annoying me. I'm 18 and the genetics of my dad's hair is getting to me. I noticed in the past weeks I have been losing hair abnormally and it's scaring me. I'm 18 and starting to go bald. :(

Bald is beautiful. The sooner you embrace the inevitable, the happier you'll be. My hair is ridiculously thinned and receded, and looks horrible when I try to grow it out. I love shaving my head though, and I hope you'll find yourself being proud of your dome.

Yes but how old are you? Older than 18 I believe. I was considering that, but I never ever ever had short hair and couldn't imagine what I would look like with little to no hair.

Yes but.... I'm not even 20. That's the only thing that bugs me. I'm fine with losing my hair but this young ?

Maybe if I was like 30 then I wouldnt care.

I've a few friends who have lost their hair in their late teens. As huh says, it's only a big deal if you make it so.

I'm ageing too fast. I just don't think I can imagine myself bald. My high school used to do this hair drive where students can get a free haircut and all the hair would be used for cancer patients. I'm curious to know if my college will do this.
