Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Sooo glad I'm transferring properties! So sick of this waiting til night something needs to be done, that not only shouldve been done earlier, but told me earlier, not lie and say that the gm said he told you what to do when you know damn well he didn't, you're just protecting your butt! So gotta put dinner on hold, make the guests wait and no time to relax. One more day left....
 
Trying to fix someone's phone over the phone who doesn't know what the heck they are doing! Especially if they don't listen! :banghead::banghead::mad:

Yes its so irritating too like plz just be quiet, stop pushing buttons, and listen. I just don't understand how ppl can have smart phones and not know where the browser is or settings or just basic things like do you not ever play with your phone?!
 
Road trip at the end of my work day, no lunch money, and they gave me an expired gas card.

By the time I get back, I'll have done a 23 hour shift, and the company will have to reimburse me something like $75.
 
Job searching is not going well. I've been out of a job since January and nobody has even interviewed me. I also hate those personality tests. They prove nothing. My parents are driving me nuts. Yes I am 23 years old and still live with them. Problem? Rent for a decent apartment is an entire month's paycheck and I will barely have enough left over for food and gas.

What career/job are you looking for? Hang in there, something will present itself when you least expect it.

I agree on the personality tests, when I moved from IT to a trade it was so nice never to see one again.
 
I dislike personality tests. If you want to find out about me, talk to me. If you just want me to do a paper interview then it shows me you don't care. If you want someone who is punctual, wants to be at work, has a good work ethic and can learn on the fly, hire me. Employers should talk with a person before a "paper interview".

I do great in interviews for welding/fabrication, usually getting the job. In IT, its the exact opposite. With a trade I have found more respect from an employer and fellow employees than in any other field I have worked in before.

BTW, I do have a job, the above is my opinion.

oh no, wish you the best of luck in getting a job!!!! It just sucks when they don't call when you applied for so many. Keep going at it!
