Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

I blew through my entire savings because I was unemployed for six months... I know how you feel.

Good luck finding some decent work!

Now that the weather shows a slight(?) improvement, the motorcycle idiots have come out of hibernation.

  • Open pipes instead of mufflers.
  • Doing 75-80 MPH in a 45 MPH zone.
  • Crossing the double line to pass 20 or so cars while in a corner.
I could add a few more, but you get the idea! :(:(

The HP Chromebook 11. I love this computer, but Google and HP completely failed on the charging portion of this computer. Micro USB on a computer?? it's a great idea, but they failed to make it work.

This is the second time that I have had this computer break due to this charger. Now the darn thing won't charge.

World Cup, bored of it already.

My day is off to a lousy start. The person who I carpool with to work called in sick. Had to call a cab that had a hard time finding my apartment. And I ended up being late for work because of that and rush hour traffic. *sigh* Typical Monday.

I tried a ChromeBook, the Acer C7 about a year ago but, I find a tablet much more useful. From Android and the way a tablet works with other devices in the house like a NAS to its physical size and battery life.

I suppose if you're carpooling you have to have an understanding boss, because things like that are really beyond your control, and then having to rely on cabs or public transport.

I mainly use my Chromebook for Google drive and type a lot on my Chromebook. Google Drive for android really sucks to be honest and would not really want to use it. Also android can't run Flash which is what my Math class runs on.

I also like a real keyboard compared to touch screens. Dvorak typest here. Qwerty is just bad. I don't like it.

When the now ex housekeeper still insists on being annoying, touchy, sees I'm busy but still continues to talk, and she smells like 2 year old McDonald's grease.

I don't like shopping at whole foods either..funny because I see the people who shop there as kind of home- made deodorant beanie algea eating hipster wanna be types..we have some pretty high end gourmet markets around here where most of the other snooty types you mentioned shop:rolleyes:
anywho I hate shopping at whole foods because every time I do I end up annoyed. Maybe the aisles are too small..maybe it's the set up..IDK but I usually end up trying to just get out of there ASAP.

Now...Trader Joes...I love

They have decent sandwiches there, and it's near one of my doctors offices, so the wife and I will go in.

I agree, huh-- Trader Joe's is a better place, but there are a good number of people looking down their noses at me in that place, too.

Is it because I take a shower on a daily basis, or because I wear jeans and a t-shirt?

Our maybe it's because I don't like people...

I get annoyed at Whole Foods as they never carry any of the special baking items called for in a recipe. Recipe states item is usually found in an organic store.

Otherwise, organic doesn't bother me. I grew up organic. We had a large enough garden and root cellar, and my mother canned. It wasn't that great picking bugs out of the veggies or smelling manure. What you can control is additives - yet you can buy pop that has too much sugar and additives in store anyway. I suppose it's what the local populace wants.

I don't like people either:D Actually, I go into "oblivious" mode whenever I go shopping...anywhere! maybe it's a defense mechanism:D people make fun of me for it...hubby hates going shopping with me because I tune out, have tunnel vision, don't notice people, bump into people, stand in their way, drop things, spill things, etc...the list goes on...
I made up a game we play when we go furniture shopping..the minute you walk into one of those places you are tagged and stalked by sales people..so Hubby and I have a contest to see who can get to the back of the store without being approached...its highlarious..you have to bob and weave and completely ignore your surroundings..I always win!:D:D

I can totally taste the difference between most organic VS non organic food..esp milk, carrots peaches and tomatoes:) I am trying my hand at organic gardening this summer...
