I prefer today over history. Today is my history. History is life. Life is history. History would be worthless if it wasn't about lives.

They make me work 6 hours without a break... That's fine. I think my register is down $7. I hate it when people just drive right past me abd not pay then the person after then pays for them and not for themselves.

Definitely second that: Dan Carlin's podcasts are awesome. I particularly liked the series on Genghis Khan - largely because, it turned out, I knew next to nothing about the Mongols - but they're all excellent and well worth a listen.

I just found out my manager got laid off today, and this is her last day. I didn't know her for long, but I hate it for her since she was a good person to work with. Man, talk about office politics.

I'm still not finished getting my old house ready to sell..more things just keep creeping up and i'm so sick of it. I want to just list it and forget about it and sell it as is I don't care !!! but.....
I know that if I just put some money cosmetically into it I will make way more on the sale...ugh...now I think I needto add a little bit of curb appeal too..ughghghghgh
I was just going to replace the kitchen cupboard and drawer fronts ...but now I think I need to hire someone to reface them...They are that stupid white thermofoil and they are peeling in places and in between or the trim whatever is yellowing
also I was just going to clean the basement carpet but I think it should be replaced...(long story that will just get me angry to recount right now) and I wasn't going to paint the basement either..(it's finished) but...now I think I should....geez i swear it's one step forward two steps back...and stupid frickin Lacrosse is still going on so I have zero time on the weekends or at night....one more week and one more stupid all weekend tournament and the season is OVER...

aaaand I have to take quinny to the vet this afternoon. She had a playdate with my friends spazoid puppy and I think she hurt her leg....she was born with a condition can't remeber the name...but her back knees are loose? they can dislocate easily or whatever...I'm sure thats why she was a rescue because she is a pure breed AKC registered Boston Terrier . Anywho since she was a puppy I have been doing kind of a physical therapy on her where she thinks we are playing but I'm really strengthening her muscle and ligaments around her hind knees...And we were doing a great job! she went from probably needed surgery when she was just a little puppy and I first got her to a level 2 which means just about normal with no issues. Level 1 is no issues at all..normal dog knees

she is limping a little and favoring the other leg....stupid minions spaz puppy...
ugh I know its not her or max (puppy who is actually quinnys age) fault...they were having fun playing....but I should have watched her closer I guess...or maybe not let them get so rowdy..or...

Ok this is NOT my day!! I'm at my old house getting some stuff done I look outside and the city tree trimmers are trimming my neighbors tree by the street and they decide to park their big arsenical truck right smack in front of my driveway and now it is also covered in tree branches blocking me!! Wtwhat!!!!! My car is parked in the driveway!!! What are they thinking????? I have to leave to take Quinny!!! Dang it!! Now I have to go out there and say really???? Seriously???? What the hello are you people thinking??? Move it or lose it!! And I'm in a mood... And they have a wood chipper!! Someone is losing a limb or something I swear!!!!!

I played nice and bought an ebook that I wanted. Both the computer and the old Nook wifi are verified. Get to book over to the Nook, and it wants more info. Finally got that fixed, can read book.
The same book is downloadable FREE on a bunch of different torrents. I won't go that route because of malware, but dammit, I feel I'm being punished for paying for the book!

That's a major issue with all the various markets for eContent is portability.
However noble the intentions, let's end this line of discussion so we don't enable folks that will use it with ill intent.
