Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

So the answer is "yes" ... the FAA. ;) :vroaaaam: <--- trying to outrun the drone carrying the water balloon.

What's funny is the gov entity that controls that stuff in Aruba is the DCAA. Random sites had these regulations listed, saying to submit a form, and had a link to their site. Well site has been down for weeks and weeks. So I said screw it and flew, even ask a cop on beach to be sure. Turns out you are supposed to go to site and get phone number or email for 1 of 2 guys and contact them and tell them you are going to fly.

How confusing is that? That info is REALLY hard to find and confirm when their site is down! Didn't stop trolls from barking and whining.

GRRRRRRR

(i've since talked to aruba dcaa guy, so we're all good.)

When the place you're renting gets sold and you've got a new landlord. I spoke to him once on the phone and I got his contact details and he got mine. Despite how many times I've tried to contact him I never get a reply. I know I owe someone money but they're not letting me pay them. Almost made the mistake of texting them "**** you I'll move out tomorrow" (quicker I'm out quicker I've got my deposit for my own place) but then had the feeling a tenancy agreement would turn up saying it would cost me. What to do? Maybe just move out and never sign a tenancy agreement I've never been sent

The older I get not much grinds my gears. I just left a lot of stuff roll off my back. Or at least I try.

Robocalls to my car (dammit, on-star!)

I love the scammers. I play with them.

For example. one asked me if I was driving the same car as he wanted to sell me his useless warranty. I said that I wasn't. He wanted to update his records and asked me what I was driving. I told him I was driving a 1985 Yugo! click.

Ha ha, good one! :)

My favorite is the Micro$oft/window$ ones--like they've put something on my computer, and if I don't pay X amount they'll wipe my drive. Bwaaaahhh! As a Linux ONLY, hyper-security aware person, I know from the get-go it's bullshit. But they don't know that I know. *imagine a sly, evil grin emoticon here*

If you look on YouTube, there are hackers who actually hack into these people's Network and bring it down.
