Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Ha ha, good one! :)

My favorite is the Micro$oft/window$ ones--like they've put something on my computer, and if I don't pay X amount they'll wipe my drive. Bwaaaahhh! As a Linux ONLY, hyper-security aware person, I know from the get-go it's bullshit. But they don't know that I know. *imagine a sly, evil grin emoticon here*

It amuses me when a classic Windows dialog pops up in my browser with these warnings; but it allso saddens me because I know too many people who fall for this trick.

I love the scammers. I play with them.

For example. one asked me if I was driving the same car as he wanted to sell me his useless warranty. I said that I wasn't. He wanted to update his records and asked me what I was driving. I told him I was driving a 1985 Yugo! click.

The next call will be to sell you a warranty for your Yugo. Which has to be a scam as that's most definitely a losing proposition and nobody would actually sell warranties for those. ;)

I don't know anyone with a local # who would call me so I know those are fake and don't pick up.
Actually since I've activated the Metro/T-Mo Scam Block service I've had very few scam calls.

Bugs. That is the current thing that absolutely grinds my gears:maddroid:. Yesterday I am driving and splat some insect hit my windshield, leaves a purplish blotch on the windshield
I hit the wiper's purple blotch almost disappears. Then a rapid sessions of splats before long my windshield look like it had been assaulted by a paint ball gun:thumbsdowndroid:
I ended up having to stop twice just to clean my windshield :brbdroid:

I got a scam call about an extended warranty for my 20+yo Honda, and somehow the MoFo's even knew how many miles were on the speedometer! I was so surprised, I hung up. Then went to call and raise some Cain, bit the number was a spoof and couldn't connect..

Today.
Let see the rain has not appeared yet, the hose was turned off, coiled back, as the sun was laughing at my face,
mostiquo's bitting left and right and not even evening time, what they forgot their coffee? At least ran and got some Sonic Drive Thru ice cream.

these damn asian bots that spam this site almost every day here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right now not having a monitor really grinds my gears, I cannot import my photos to my ps3 via USB, and really getting just so used to this tablet. I really need to import the photos so I can select for album artwork, also need to do a ton of stuff I accidently keep pushing off my p.c. - dispite it is the same stuff I do on here, except for drawing on it though.

So got my 18.5 inch comptuer monitor, the VGA screws are too short, but luckily I can pick one up at Walmart soon yay :) I am happy to have one finally...Still have to kind of wait for moving photos et all though.

IT is so annoying, the monitor not only does not motify the screen so I can have everything smaller. It just flickered a bit ago, so I tried to adjust in the color scheme, it does work though... the most annoying thing is I am now used to this tablet, vs. the big HD monitor, it feels different to my eyes.
