Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Promotions that are not even like, oh saying "Tonight only on this station, tune in right now, in a few hours"
Instead I get "tune in years from now" in my head, but in revelatary theory they are only a spell from now.
I really do not like watching much ads though, but the Digger one of where Tom Cruise rocks the soccer ball was so awesome.

fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffiretruck my media is still pinned up even though I have it toggled, I am going to probably fdr this if the problem presist, I tested it a few times already....

I have ordered a new starter for my 2011 Toro Grandstand. It is to be delivered in the AM tomorrow. I pulled the old starter off of the Kawasaki engine this afternoon. I was glad that I have a battery operated impact driver. It rattled a 12mm socket quite a while before it shook the two anchoring bolts loose. I'm satisfied they were tighter than needed fifteen years ago and they hadn't gotten any looser through the years. I'm just happy that I didn't strip the hex heads or break the bolts.

The bolts reminded me of a rant I've had on my mind since 1978. It was the year that I bought a new TransAM. I went to change the oil after the initial 500 mile or whatever break in and found it was welded to the block... or so it seemed. My filter wrench crushed the filter. I bought a smaller wrench and it just crushed the filter more. I finally drove a screwdriver through the filter and used it to twist the remaining crushed filter off of my brand new car. I have no idea why it was put on so tightly. At the time, I thought it was installed by a pissed off employee.
