Root [ROM][12.04.2012][VeNuM]V8 Rom

aw this looks awesome....something different....kind of sad to here that venum is going into semi-retirement from developing.

i too am downloading this:D
 
I thought that this would be a neat ROM with a neat Launcher what I found was after messing with it for about 30 minutes I went back to clean ROM de by newboyz. I disliked it that much and its not so much the ROM as it was the look and feel. I know I could put my own launcher on it but what was the point there? Sure hope Newboyz comes out with a newer version soon. I really like his Clean ROM.
 
its actually not that bad. the launcher is different....it does give you a taste of what a windows phone would be like. battery life is ok with the kernel that comes with it, but i'm going to try enoch with this and see what it is like. each tile you have to set what app you want to open. but once you get that down...it is kind of cool. i fooled my friend with this. he thought i bought another phone. it is still only been a day with this and i have yet find a flaw.

again like with miui, if you like something different please give this a try......if i can figure out how to take a screen shot, i will post some screenies for it.
 
I downloaded it and thanked the developer over there. I was going to flash it today but I was so impressed with how the battery was holding up on mn6.4 i couldn't bear to part with it. :p

Oh, is this much different than just using the WP8 launcher in the Play store?
 
As far as I can tell, not really. It has a few WP8 themed apps like phone and calculator, but it's still a Sense ROM with a WP8 launcher. The dev included WP8 sounds like ringtones and alarms.

I had to switch off of this ROM because it ate my battery life like crazy. I mean about double MeanROM's battery usage.

Glad to see other Doctor Who fans in here :-D
