Root [ROM][4.0.4][BETA] CM9 for Virgin Mobile and Sprint 10/3/2013

Updated. Panorama still doesn't work but it's not a camera issue, it's a graphic issue.

Feels good putting camera in the working section.
Feels just as good seeing it in the working section:) I just had to applaud you right in front of my computer screen when I saw you fixed camera! What a great surprise!

Anyway I was wondering do I need to flash the kernel test.zip you made and the camera fix or is all that in the ROM?

Also if is not to much could you post the exact download URL please. I need to download this through my download manager. Thanks a bunch!

Since pretty much everything is working now, will you be able to get NFC working with Google Wallet? It jusy stays on the "Setting up Wallet" screen.

You do not need to flash the camera fix and if I post the URL it would come out like the links in the op.

I was referring mostly to any framework files. Trying to see exactly what I need to re port to update MIUI

Here's all the libs needed. If I remember anymore I'll edit this post.

Libui
Libcamera
Libcameraservice
Libcamera_client
Libbinder
Liboemcamera
Camera.msm7x30

So if I want to flash the newest build over my 8-19 build, just wipe cache and dalvik and then flash newest build?

i've been using sleipnir since the beginning of the year... it's so stable i've been hesitant to switch... but i've had my eye on this thread for a while... psyched that "everything" seems to be working now...

gonna do a clean install and let you know what's up...

thanks for all your hard work.

Hey phenom, I've been watching and cheering from the sidelines and I wanted to say..

You need to wait about 3 to 5 seconds so the camera can be released. This goes for the led apps aswell since they use the camera interface.

Any new changes from 8-19 that would affect battery? I finally switched to this from stock + giantpune kernel to the 8-19 plus the camera patch and battery life took a drastic hit, from 40 hours to 13. I've calibrated the battery and am tracking usage with betterbatterystats, but I'm not seeing any major wakelocks or alarms that can explain it. I'll retest with the new build.

Definitely kudos on the work. I'm looking forward to seeing the latest source, I'd like to experiment with toolchains to see how performance is affected. Any chance you can make a short build guide in case there's any gotchas?

What do you mean?

"In case there is any gotchas"

Well, I would assume that what would be needed is setup an environment, pull the latest cm9 code, drop in the kernel, device, and hardware code from your git, run lunch and make. What I don't know is if there's any mods that need to be made to the OTA once the build is complete.

No mods are needed after building
