Root [ROM][4.0.4][BETA] CM9 for Virgin Mobile and Sprint 10/3/2013

The wifi seems to refuse to automatically switch to mobile data when I drive away from an access point. I have to manually turn off wifi to get mobile data going. Wifi just stays there, empty with no bars.

I have also experienced this.

Would it be possible to add back the option to use the front leds as notification indicators?
Kinda miss that :( Otherwise loving it. Oh, one issue. The wifi seems to refuse to automatically switch to mobile data when I drive away from an access point. I have to manually turn off wifi to get mobile data going. Wifi just stays there, empty with no bars.

If he would add bln support to the kernel yes. (If he hasn't already)
I've also noticed the WiFi issue...it does change for me but just takes a while.

Like ill Press the power button to wake the screen and it just stays black so i press it again nothing then multiple times and it reboots. Weird

Maybe an app is causing the reboots. I haven't had a reboot in months. Anyone else experience reboots?

I have experienced the same reboot problems, however, not more than maybe once or twice a week.

I would like to remedy the long vibration problem when using the phone dialer.

Never had the problems you are describing.

Of course not, man. That's why it is mysterious;)

Would also like to see the WiFi tethering/hotspot working as well.

That's being worked on. I'm only one person so I work on issues that are most important and wifi tethering isn't important to me since it works fine with 3rd party apps. I have a lot of things to fix which sucks for me because I wanted to get jellybean up into beta.

Understand about the one man show. I am self employed network engineer so I know where you are coming from.

I've never got the WiFi hotspot stuff to fully work consistently even with third party applications. Barnacle is the only app I was able to get to work - sometimes.

Hmm, that's really weird. It worked fine when ever I used it. I'll try to get tethering going tomorrow before I release a new build.

I do agree with you, WiFi hotspot/tethering does not hold quite as high a priority as say some of the memory issues or the radio problems I have read about in the past, however, I do appreciate your efforts - as many on this forum do. I'll look for the new build. Appreciate the responses.

Ive never got any third party wifi tether app to work.

Is anyone else interested in doing development work with the source code? I got a bootable build a few days ago and can work on a guide, maybe start a dev thread.

I'll admit I stalled my own progress trying to dig into the RIL issues (I have ideas!), so be warned, it's addicting.

Hmm maybe you can work on the rest of the issues while I work on cm10.
