Odd question -- has anyone actually gotten either Android Beam or Google Wallet working with this? Or indeed any other NFC functionality?

I've gotten Google beam to work with an other device. Nfc tags and Google wallet is the things that don't work and I believe they are connected to why they don't work. Just need to figure out why they don't work. I can't see anything odd in the logs. Trying to open Google wallet causes nfc to stop working completely until you do a reboot. Weird stuff.

Somebody thank Phenom!

666 thanks haha

Done lol, he has almost as much thanks as I have posts ha ha

How close is the p500 to this phone? I found the tun.ko module for it, maybe it'll help? Idk http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=847112

Structurally very close because I've used a lot of code and the vertical horizontal spacing etc is perfect. Kernel wise I couldn't confirm or deny but framework etc its very close. Compare specs, chip sets and boards that'd give you a better idea.

All i know is that after cmiui the first booting port I made was from the p500

i wiped cache and dalvik cache then flashed the latest build on top of blackbean after that it froze on the reboot 2 times until commencing to the home screen the blackbean mod was gone after that i once again went into recovery wiped both caches then flashed the mod..everything looked normal but the new options added to customizing the status bar were gone can some tell me where i went wrong, do i need to do a clean wipe? if so can i get a step by step guide on how i can do so without messing up?

The roms native status bar mods are null because of the extensive smali editing that's been done. The clocks are connected in both the status bar and notifications windows. Opacity is now controlled from system UI preferences in settings. Please if you have any other questions about the mod please use my thread as not to hijack phenom's or confuse people lol. Thanks.:)

Actually running gsnap at the moment, but I remember this issue from cm9. And ken's gsnap is based on your ICS. So, here goes.
When using a code scanner for qr downloads, I get a camera error with a bunch of numbers. Now the download still happens, and the camera doesnt close, but that error happens everytime I scan a qr download. No problems with scanning candy bars or sodas, just qr downloads.

It's a weird error. I haven't had the chance to look at the log cat but the download finishes fine.

Noticed the memory management options were removed on this build will they make a comeback?

Forgot to enable them since I had to start over on the kernel about 4 times because some mishaps with the kernel. Since I'm going to update the ROMs again tomorrow I'll enable them.

After flashing the latest zip, Tun.ko Installer didn't work at first, but after exiting and re-entering the app, it recognized tun.ko as pre-installed.

I can now use "OpenVPN for Android" by using the option "Fix ownership of /dev/tun" which "Tries to set the owner of /dev/tun to system."

Now I feel safer when I surf the web at public wifi. Thanks for tun.ko support.

A couple of minor things that I noticed.....

The AM/PM doesn't work on the center clock, not sure if many people use this anyway.
The zoom on the camera only works to the halfway point and stops zooming. I personally don't use the zoom often at all, pictures don't look that great, but some may.

Other than that, superb job Phemon...your diligent work is appreciated by many.
