Root [ROM][4.0.4][BETA] CM9 for Virgin Mobile and Sprint 10/3/2013

I'm getting great battery life and performance with 245 min, 1708 max, smartassv2, noop, and nova launcher. The battery stays in the 90s all day at work with light use which is the best battery life I've had with any rom on this phone.

What is the Play Store link? There are several WiFi hotspot apps with the name 'WiFi Tether' in the title. I'm sure I've checked them all, but want to make sure I check the one that's working for you.

My reboots mostly occur when installing things from the App Store. I think I may have had a couple stray ones, but usually it's that.

Overall, though, this ROM is terrific. As mentioned, apps sometimes need to be force-killed, and the battery dies quickly on 3G or Wifi. But if you only turn 3G/Wifi on when you're actively using them, the battery life is amazing, and the ROM is generally responsive and fast. I'm mostly just glad I can use 3G on this thing at all. Thanks! (and thanks for nothing, LG and Virgin...)
 
Hi been using this Rom from the very beginning and it has come a very long way! I am currently on the 8/30 build with the BlackBean mod! Have noticed that boot time is slower compared to the previous build though.

For some reason though according to the data usage in settings Andriod Os is using alot of data. 385MB and I just got renewed for another month of service a few days ago. Is there anyway to stop this from using so much Data?

Idk how to logcat very well, I had to look it up, but hopefully this is what you're looking for

I tried using OpenVPN Connect and Private Internet Access for VPN'ing but I get errors about "tun.ko", and "TUN.ko installer" from market does not find a compatible tun.ko.

Can you please modify the kernel to include tun.ko? :santaclaus:
