Root [ROM][4.0.4][BETA] CM9 for Virgin Mobile and Sprint 10/3/2013

This ROM is so wonderful. It's barely in the alpha stages right now, but so far it is epic.

On the Sprint build, the battery life drains a little fast but silky smooth.

Ok I'm too excited, my kitchen light is on, the oven is pre heated and I have all my ingredients. I made 2 nandroids just in case. I'm getting to work.

I know anything that happens is my own fault so I'll be careful for now

Also it's just for MY use for now

I had it a fat32 but that was for my Optimus V and Kyocera Rise. When I got this phone and put my sdcard in I had to format it through stock ROM so it will read it.
I also tried formating it through this ROM and it does not format it. All my stuff is still there.
Also just curious, if you update the ROM will the CM updater do anything?

I formatted my external SD card to FAT32 using my computer, and my new OE read it just fine (I didn't have to format it via the phone).

Dude, Phenom, you are the Shazty McShaznat! Just straight Nazty with it. Gotta say man, excellent alpha release:D
This friggin DSP manager rocks my ears off, I'm pretty sure I nearly destroyed my headphones.

...oh yea, just one, extremely minute thing I was wondering, I'm supposing that the camera has to be working in order for the native led toggle widget to work, but I don't know. I'm not harping about the camera, that'll come in due time, I'm just curious about the flashlight.

Actually no, the camera doesn't have to be working to get the LED on. According to giantpune, the LED can be fired up standalone through CWM without accessing the camera, it's just that basically all apps written that use either the LED or the camera require the other to work (for some reason). At least, that's how I remember it.

I was hoping cw fixes the random reboot issue everyone is having even on stock. I guess not :(.

I'm not having random reboots on stock at all, nor Sleipnir, and I'm not sure why you would be either unless an app you installed is causing it, or you're overclocked too high.

I get random reboots also. I set my speed at 1.4 to make it run stable but I still encounter the luck of the draw sometimes.

Phenomx, I think I may have found a fix for random reboots. set proc/sys/kernel/panic to 10 and proc/sys/kernel/panic_on_oops to 0. Try it out and tell me what you think.
Pm me if you want some more help, I'd be glad to

Not sure if this is indicative of something i have done or something else. I can/will make a pastebin if you want one phenom. Hers the skinny. The one bug i seem to get is if the phone is asleep for a length of time (30min+) then the unlock screen freezes, and the only thing i can do is a battery pull. Min CPU is set at the one ABOVE 245 (its the third from lowest) and govenor is set as smartassv2.

Also completely off topic - total recarl is my absolute hands down FAVORITE athf episode : which button sorta turns me to the lawyer, and makes me sue the hell out of you

Rawr!!! Sorry I'm excited, my project, my project actually boots on the first try....now to get my hands dirty. Damn my kingdom for a laptop, it'll be so much quicker
