Finally got Google Now to work! Must have been the 3G i was one because it went real smooth on Wifi and it even updated the Play Store!

Although Google Now said there was an update for it and when i went in the Play Store it said it was incompatible with my device. How? Its already installed. Does say that for anyone else?

I only have one error now in logcat. I think the Camera.apk needs to edited slightly because I use a different one, but I have no computer to do so...

Same here. I think the store sees that you have ICS and that's why it won't let you update.

Yeah as long as I have an Internet connection.

Its because GN is an official JB app. Not for ICS↓. Since the Elite has no official JB Update from LG it will not work.
Even if we make a JB Rom the play store wont let you update it. But you can get the new apk from a TRUSTED site and install like that. But we don't have a JB rom so we can't.

That's actually not true. The store will update Google Now on devices with cm10 that don't have stock JB.

So I'm wondering, you made the corrections from the phone then? What do we need to do? Maybe you could upload what you have, to someone with a computer and they could make the altercations to the apk and compile it for you.

They're working on other phones. They're going to work on CM10 when I finish the tree.

I'm using your camera.apk, just a few different libs and it only gets one error in log at. I think the libs I used are close to right, they just need some slight tweaking

Thanks! Do you know were i could find a more update version. I mean this Google Now was made almost a year ago! Just Curious because I have read that is is difficult to port to ICS.

No one has ported it. Its to hard and to time consuming if I remember correctly.

Phenomx, I added a few missing libs that were causing errors, if you'd like I can upload them along with the libs for the camera and send them to you. Also, have you considered my random reboot suggestion?

I asked a kernel developer from team osiris about the reboot issue and he is going to look at the kernel source and see what's up.
