Root [ROM][4.1.2]AWE Inspired Moonshine White/Ginger V2.9a Final[Works with stock device]

@brittnearl My apologies. I haven't been invited to anything my family is doing so I kind of forgot about easter. Happy holidays!

@starkraving, I realize this, but how can you expect me to be as patient as you'd like with all the teasers? happy holidays to you as well!

No need to apologize I was just informing, family comes before play:D

Is there a way to change the ISO in the camera?

If not anyone know of a camera app that will let you?

I found everything over 100 to be un-usable for my use.

So I downloaded Camera FV-5 from blackmart, which lets you use ISO 100.
The rest of that app is pretty crappy though.

Pretty impressed by the phone, I came from a EVO 4G and have not been disappointed.

Had it for a little over a week now and still great, no freezing no random reboots.(lets me post videos on instagram perfectly, some of my friends with $400 phones have issues with that lol)

Trying wifi tethering right now and it's pretty quick! loads pages with no bad lags, even heavy flash ones.(using wifi tether for root users)

PS: for those who haven't hit the 2.5GB web I can say it hasn't slowed down my internet speed at all, I think only the 4G phones are affected. I remember years back they did the same thing and I couldn't notice a difference either on my intercept.

you are way off there pal. you know right off the bat when your throttled. using Speedtest.net to check my speeds before and after, i went from 2+mbs to 30kbs. occasionally ill hit 40kbs. this is both on and off peak usage hours. basically anything between 11 pm and 8 am is off-peak, giving you "better" speeds because everyone else is asleep.

yea...just wait...youll see

p.s: i <3 Intercept ^_^

Yeah, it wasn't turning on within the settings or with the notification toggle. I exited out several times and tried again, didn't work. I don't know, I extracted the kernel dragonheart had in his AWEsome Rom and put it in with RBs updater binary and script, in order to flash it in recovery, because for some reason RBs kernel would cause my phone to keep from booting. So I don't know, maybe the kernel broke the Wi-Fi, but it flashed fine and was working with your "kitkat" Rom. Everything, but the Wi-Fi. So I just flashed back to The AWEsome Rom, I think it works the best for me, not sure why you abandoned it just because these guys made a kitkat themed Rom dragonheart. I think you were doing excellent man, it's the only one I can overclock on where everything works properly...... Except something about the camera force closing when video recording in a lower resolution (don't quote me on that I'll go back and check now) but yeah besides that man it's pimp in my opinion.

Yes switch kernel will break wifi without changing drivers, as far as over clock there is a kernel in the works:D, the old oc kernel is too unstable imo to be included with my rom(eg: random reboots) i have defaulted 2nd core online for now though ;)

Oh alright then, that's what happened...........I suppose you could do what I did and include dragonhearts kernel for now, right? It doesn't matter,
......oh, and the camera thing. I was having issues with video recording in lower than 720p at least on your last version (2.1) maybe it's fixed, or it's individual error, but I did notice that and I don't have the problem now on AWEsome Rom

The use of the sock kernel with both cores defaulted is the best option for all users at the moment. This is intended to be a feature rich ROM with stability and usability in mind. Sadly the existing OC kernel doesn't play well with a lot of devices and be assured when we have a stable OC kernel it will be included. Right now the current kernel makes more sense for a daily driver. :D

Your one of the lucky ones able to use that kernel then.
You could extract the wifi files from AWEsome along with the boot.img to get it working with this rom. I'll look for them and make a flashable zip if anyone wants to try it out, but like earl and starkraving said the stock is more stable

Dude haha i did that on v2.1 lol i have to boot img but i cant make a working flashable zip

wierd i got mine clocked to 1.9 and no problems

Yea ive never had an issue with any of the kernels rbheromax had out during development. Since it was put on hold, ive been running it maxxed out forever and thats been like 3-4 months never clocked any lower >_< almost a whole days use a lot of time too.
Either I got super lucky, or my phone is the worst ever for debugging lol

I just use ES file explorer for zipping, its always been reliable for me. I set it to standard. You gotta include a update.binary if you wanna flash any type of zip in recovery, it informs the recovery how and where to install. As far as the updater script, I don't know.... best bet to include include too, seems to me like it's just a read out for the user to see what's happening.
