You could extract the wifi files from AWEsome along with the boot.img to get it working with this rom. I'll look for them and make a flashable zip if anyone wants to try it out, but like earl and starkraving said the stock is more stable

.........it's not, is it? There's an xtwifi.conf too.
 
Why did we stray from Apex launcher? iMHO it had better features. Why give us two launchers if the goal was to avoid bloat? And where did the keyboard we had in the last version go? The other keyboard was better set up in my opinion. Someone please explain the reasons? I've been on this new rom for 5 minutes and I'm already ready to do a restore.

This rom is supposed to be 'KitKat' themed. Having as many KK features as possible keeps the aesthetic. If you dont like the launcher, theres nothing stopping you from replacing it. Same with the keyboard.
Its more or less a personal preference to the creator of the rom. Suggestions are heard, believe me, but ultimately if it can be replaced with a simple download we would rather leave that to the user.
 
I'll just go back to the old one, seeing as how it's kind of hard to delete apps you added as system apps, and installing other apps would be bloating my phone. Not all the features that changed were listed. If they had been, I wouldn't have updated.

You could just as well use titanium backup or root explorer and change it however you want. Delete the apk from /system/app, replace it with the one you want and change the permissions to r-rw-- and boom, just how you like it.

Deleting system apps is as easy as installing any root browser and going to system/app and select the app and delete. No one said you had to update. We made these for us and decided to share. This kind of response is why a lot of people just abandon devices. Especially devices that already have minimal support. Thanks for the feedback. :D

Okay I think I came across more rude than I meant to. Pardon my frustration. I got apex launcher back from the play store. What keyboard was used in the last version ?

On a side note every time I open gmail it force closes.

The change log is correct... Im assuming u flashed the black version as u said its a different keyboard... Its actually the same keyboard just themed the screenshots show this... And as chris said the roms are for ur convenience as we like to share our work...

If you're using the black version following the instructions for uninstalling the play services update and not allowing auto updates. Apparently play services is borking modded gapps across the board. I know team blackout is aware as are DJ DarkKnight and others. We'll find a permanent fix.
 
And yeah I used the black one. I Iiked the shortcuts that were available on the keyboard before, this one just doesn't seem to have them.

Its the updated 3.0.x.x.x...the previous was the 2.0 so there were some changes by Google beyond our control .
 
BTW the keyboard doesn't show the trace pattern when the phone is turned sideways, nor does it show the extra abbreviations when you long press on the period key. But only when the phone is sideways

Again guys I apologize. Please don't hold a grudge against me I have a pretty bad case of anxiety and I kind of freaked out when I saw what to me is large* changes. I'll continue to use it and help with pointing out bugs as I have been.

Does it have to be root explorer specifically? I tried to delete the other launchers via ES file explorer and it says delete is not allowed.

U may have to enable root access in preferences i personally use root explorer and root browser works good too:)
