question is it necessary to update to zva befire flashing or does it already have zva?
yea sure about that?? last I heard it was only about 5MB, so it doesnt replace much lolYou don't need to update via LG tool. This is ZVA. This will replace whatever version of Gingerbread you have.
The first ever for the Connect too, so kudos. (Unless I missed one. xD) I noticed you removed the useless MetroPCS name from the notification center, thanks a lot for that.
Anyways, for those saying that it automatically restarts, I noticed it only does that when I overlock the CPU too much (I set it to almost 2.00GHz. x.x) So yeah, just try different speeds and see which one does not cause your phone to constantly reboot at random times (Those random times seem to be when the CPU speed scales up to speeds it was not built to handle.)yea sure about that?? last I heard it was only about 5MB, so it doesnt replace much lol
I though the question was that to flash this rom it's needed to flash stock zva. Maybe I miss understood.yea sure about that?? last I heard it was only about 5MB, so it doesnt replace much lol
no im saying if there was a radio update in zva and ibwas on zv8 before flashing this rom would the rom update my radio to zva or shud i update to get that and reflash?
so if i nandroid then update then recover that wud keep the radio on the update right?
Alright, so I am finally done customizing the ROM the way I like it.
Just two things I have noticed that seem to not be working.. Well, one of them might be just me not knowing how to do it. :/
Anyways...
1.) There does not seem to be a Battery Charging Bar that usually is displayed when the phone is turned off and it is charging. (Real minor inconvenience, just thought I'd mention it.)
2.) [Personal, possibly.] Skyvi won't open. I tried re-installing it, deleting its data using Root Explorer, etc. No luck. And, yes, Skyvi worked just fine in stock ROM.

Can you update the Xperia launcher you included with the ROM? the 9.1 release added support for custom icons which I think is a BIG plus to it.

I uninstalled the old one with titanium backup and its running really nice. That weather widget has me coming back every single time![]()

) It would be better if the developer could use a brighter font since changing themes does not affect it.
Need a bit more information about your problem. Does it happen only when you try pairing it with your car's radio? Try a different BT device and see if it works.

Big mistake. The first thing you need to do is do a nandroid backup of your whole phone before proceeding with flashing custom ROMs and doing things that might mess up some things on it.
Now, as far as your bluetooth crashing...
There are three apks that handle your bluetooth: "BluetoothOpp.apk", "BluetoothPbap.apk", "BrcmBlietoothServices.apk". If you are missing any of these in your "/system/app" folder, that might be the reason why it is crashing.
If you are not missing any of them, try reinstalling them through root explorer. However, before going anything further, use ClockWorkMod to create a Nandroid back up, or get TitaniumBackup and backup your system, apps, and data.
Good luck.![]()
eh ill just wait im sure there will be more roms soon enough ... been used to just installing and not backing it up had an HD2 before
