ive only had that problem on a touch pro 2 running cm7 from nand... i always assumed it was because of the resistive screen and its age

Haven't ever seen the "green lines" appear on any of the cyanogenmods before. Developed several roms, but have never seen what your are referring to. Is this happening all of the time?
 
Hey guys, I got tired of waiting for the update from LG so I brought one of Mt own lol. Updated the OP links for 1.3! Will update the change log in the OP soon!

intial impressions are good! Call volume appears to have improved even more. Battery life has appears to increase also. Charge time is still amazing, phone moves quicly and smoothly. Excellent update MT!!

No this is still based off of zv4. I am going to wait for the official release in case there are small changes found in late testing. Didn't want to restart from a new base until it is here lol.

i flashed the new update but didn't get any better in antutu as my sd read and write are always slow. What cache size are you using hollywood? and does anyone know if a 32GB sd is slower in read and write than a 16. I don't use the 16 that came with the phone since I had a 32 already.

it does seem to run nicer though. Thanks a bunch mtmichaelson! You rock!
 
they only tweaks/ changes i have done are setting my over clock to 1836 , using lag free governer, and enabled zram in TE ( not sure if thats all you do or not). Everything else is untouched, and using stock 16gb card.

thanks for your response hollywood. Maybe it's the 32GB SD card I use. I try all sorts of cache settings but nothing really seems to help much. It's not a huge deal I just get jealous when I see others with much higher SD read/write speeds.
 
My SD read/write time was 2.5 and 9 last test I ran, but the test before it was 4 and 12, on the same card, so I don't know how reliable that test is. I'm using zram and it seems to improve the way apps run and cache (yes, you only need to run it in terminal to activate). On 1.2, I had a 7200 score, compared to 6400 on 1.1, so the tweaks are definitely working.

Question on the re-addition of Beatz (before I flash 1.3): Are these just lib files that work in the background to process sound and make it sound better or is it a standalone like DSP Manager on CM?
 
as far as beats, i havent noticed a differnce in lower audio volume. I have made a couple calls and the call volume is great. i didnt use speaker phone, but all my notification sounds are good a loud too. If anything it seems to like the volume got a littler louder.

IMUcarmen - your SD card speeds could be lower because of the class of your SD card. Check and see what class it is? A class 10 should get a write speed of 10 mb/sec vs. a class 4 of 4 mb/sec.

Thats absolutely correct. If the class speeds are different that would be the reason. If the class is the same it could vary dependent upon the amount of read/write allocation.

Can anyone tell me why my phone reboots every time I try and run antutu. I am running on the newest update. I enabled zram and installed setcpu to set my oc. It freezes up and then reboots.

Looking forward to poking my head around inside it tomorrow, wish I'd seen it earlier today, but had a pretty full day, my car was hit in the DMV parking lot today, and I just got it out of the shop on Thursday last week for repairs on the exact same place it got hit today.

Back to this awesome ROM, I put 1.2.1 in my phone immediately street it was available, love the changes, 1.8GHz works great, I did have one random reboot, but I do not recall what was going on.

I have noticed the increased battery drain, but working from home and already being charge conscious, I plug in when under 75% if I know I have to go somewhere for a while, or I'll just charge in the car if the drive is long enough. On 1.1 I was getting 24 hours from 100% down to 24% and I never charge over night. Either leave it full then go to bed, or I let it sit until morning to charge.

Charged good with screen on, GPS and maps.
 
So, probably missed it but why does it say broken out 1.1 for build? I couldn't have related 1.1 again, i deleted it from my phone........
