Root [ROM] [5.7.11] BAMF Stripped BETA v1.1 - **UPDATED**

It's not that hard to change the voltages. If you can adb it's really copy and paste with the values you want to try.
i.e. adb shell
# echo "245760 900" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/vdd_levels
(this is the default voltage for 245760) so you can change 900 to 775 or whatever works for you. )
and then do each voltage / speed according to the OP.

Don't feel bad, gregnice. Adrynalyne's new kernels give me a headache with all the voltage customizations and such and I've been around Android for a while now. I feel like a noob all over again with that friggin kernel  Thank god Imoseyon makes awesome kernels, too (my favorite to be honest)

I will say at least Adrynalyne does an excellent job of making that kernel easy to navigate. Giving the stock voltages, and his custom voltages, as well as explaining what each setting does and automatically creating a backup file whenever you change anything.

Granted I'm sure someone will push it too far and blame the kernel, but even running it in it's stock form it's great.

I really do want to try Imoseyon's newest version, but I just tweaked Adryn's so I'll see how those settings work out and go from there.

On another note, I'm about to flash 'Stripped 1.1' and am wondering your thoughts on how it compares to 1.6.3 with the deSense script?

i dont notice alot of difference. i was runing 1.6 remix without the desense zip,as i didnt notice any real difference sense/desense. i run it with ADW launcher either way. its just good for your mental well being to think that sense is gone, lol. ive been on 1.1 for about 24 hours now,and early yesterday i had 2 situations where i picked up my phone and it was off  ill prolly give it today, and if i get more random turn-offs ill defiantely give somethin else a go.

Is anyone having issue with WiFi ?
nope... mine is working fine

i think im moving on for now. no shut-offs,but i did have a random reboot.

Thing is that each phone is different for some reason. This rom doesn't work for you then try another, radio..kernel, same thing. I, for one, could not live with random reboots. I need the phone to be available when I expect it to be.

exactly... i havent messed with the kernel. im not real sure what i might try next,im thinking of flashing the rooted OTA while i research the next one.

im on the new radio, but i havent had any trouble with reboots on tesla or bamf 1.6.2. matter of fact,i think flashing the new radio is when i finally started getting slightly better battery life

dont get me wrong, the rom worked well otherwise. i could see me coming back and experimenting with kernels :)

I was running this ROM ([ROM] Asylum 1.01 No Sense - xda-developers) prior to 1.6.3, which was prior to Stripped 1.1, and it's very similar to stripped..

There's a reason for that if you read the thread..;) but anyway, it might be a nice option. Maybe flash a different kernel though, it comes stock with Adrynalyne's 4.3

.......

I think, if you haven't already flashed something else, you should try adryn's cf_2.0 kernel. These phones are so different. Someone I know couldn't get stable on 1.5 until he flashed 4.3c and then no reboots after that.

Good looking out. I found out it's even easier to do with root explorer, though ;)

*UPDATE*

There is an update posted on ThatDudeButch's Twitter page for Stripped 1.1

Fixes the notification pull down, and gets rid of the 'Verizon Wireless' script.

Here's a link to his Twitter page: Twitter

Zip link posted in tweet reading; TO EVERYONE WHO FLASHED UPDATED BAMF FRAMEWORK, PLEASE REFLASH: *LINK* (Least I fixed it quick huh)

I find it funny that Butch called him out and the "developer" (used very loosely) never even responded. What a loser. F**K Kangers!

Pulling this from my TB ROM list right now
