I feel that! I came from the Samsung Epic 4g. I had it for over a year... waited the whole time for usable camera drivers to come out so cm7 could be fully functional... Never happened.

On that note, do you developers think there's a chance that the camera drivers will never work in cm9? Probably no way to know since it's in the hands of the manufacturers right?

I do believe the drivers will be found it just a matter of finding the right coding to activate the camera.
 
Had anyone gotten Netflix to work on this ROM? This ROM is sooooo amazing, once Netflix and camera are golden, I may even purchase this ROM... Despite it only being alpha! Mantera, amazing job!

yeah im wondering about netflix too some guy was working on it i wonder if he still is... all i get is audio and a black screen..

I remember seeing a work around that changes how Netflix goes about its business and makes it work on roms such as ours. Unfortunately, I have no idea where it was, maybe xda.....
 
Love the Rom But Can someone Make Change To The Carrier label Name... Like In CM7 You can Change it to what u want it to be :) Would be Great !! thanks For The ROM !! To the people who have worked so hard to get it to where its @ right now

I think you will have the option in beta like it was in cm7 rite now we can't change things like the notification lights or the vibration patterns. As you can see in the settings it is unavailable at the moment but it will be available soon. At the moment they are working on the big problems and will work out the details later. once the beta is released we will have more options and have all the bugs being worked on. For right now we should just sit back and relax. as far as I know this rom is working quite well and is still being tested.
 
Question... The thunderbolt carries the same camera right? Once official ICS is ago over there would that be good for us? Or is it another phone that has same camera?
 
Hey all...phone's busy doing the whole boot reboot from 9.0.6.5 to 9.0.10.3 bit...hope it works...but in the short time I had 10.3 up and running before it crashed out again, I checked out the Cyanogenmod statistics under nightlies...and at the bottom there's a 9.4 build! Yeah...not 9.0.4...9.4...anyone know anything about this? Before I could click on anything the screen looked like it had tar poured down it and crashed...hence my boot cycle...curiouser and curiouser!

ARGH...so I did it...twice...and then with the gapps on 0.6.5 and 0.10.3 with and without cache erase...and still FC all over the place! What do I do now? Help please! And how do I get my apps back that were installed prior to wipe? Last time I updated, they started dl immediately...

Oooookay...NOW I can't even reboot from the lock screen without fc repeatedly...did a backup, since I just reinstalled all my apps from google play...I'm going to try to wipe EVERYTHING, as suggested in an above post--btw--what is Dalvik anyway? And perhaps try to dl both gapps and 9.0.10.3 from scratch...perhaps it's the gapps version that's wack? Anyone know about gapps 4.0.3 v11? That's my other ICS pack that I got from the other phone's CM9 that supposedly had limited camera access--not for me <sigh> which is why I tried this...someone tell me they were up all night, too--developing a solve!

If you were trying to flash another phone's cm9 or files meant for another phone, it could explain why you're getting all of those FC's.

I'd recommed that you go through the whole process of doing a wipe data/factory reset and then reflash the ROM and the latest GAPPS by following the instructions in the OP.
