Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

Yes, I am using system tuner. However, I was not able to change the cpu settings using the native app.

After more tinkering, this is what i have noticed. I can change cpu and voltage settings manually using system tuner. In the past, I was able to set clock speed using the native app too. Now, I cannot do that. If I try to do that, it just reverts to back to the current settings.

Apparently, system tuner is locking out the internal overclock utility. I didn't notice this behavior with the previous build of CM9.

I suppose this might be a deliberate design feature of system tuner. It would eliminate conflicts if only one app has control over performance settings. As I said though, I did not notice this behavior in the previous build, but it is possible that it was there before.

It's like that on CM7. I use IncrediControl to set my governor, OC and voltage, the system controls lets IncrediControl take the lead in that.

I would like to know from devs is it really hard to get the camera fix? That's soo many updates and the camera is still not working but still is a ****ing awesome rom I love the recent app change to the htc one x over all the rom is awesome but it still didn't went to beta and ill love to see the camera working and later on to see this rom more stable and better battery life

The work of the devs is an awesome and mystical art and we must just be patient my friend:)

Yes, extremely difficult.

I just updated to 13.3 and I thought the changelog says something about better bt connectivity, but I actually am having worse. I pretty much ONLY use bt to stream pandora to my truck radio. It still is a pecker sometimes about connecting...it's a crap shoot which one to power cycle or reboot, but when it does connect the phone will drop out after about 15 or 20 minutes.

Well I guess it was sun spots or something. I had to go out of town today and made several spots. Never messed up. Never had to restart phone or radio. Too bad 3g antenna sucks so bad. I did have to wait for it to buffer several times.

I basically don't use my BT for anything except for my headset. But on my drive to and from work, with my bt headset connected, in prior builds, I can hear the headset disconnecting and then reconnecting constantly-it makes a little chirp when it does that. With this build though, I haven't heard it do that since.

I'll let you know when I cut my grass. I have a bt dongle my headphones plug into. 2 weeks ago I could hear my stride in my headphones! It would start to cut in and out as I walked....it connected and reconnected about 4 times before I said F it and went and got my old Hero and listened to Pandora on it while I cut the grass.

Kinda random but does anyone else find that a remembered wifi doesn't connect automatically? And if it's just mine how would I go about turning it on?

Is anyone using this rom with the navigation bar enabled?

If you are, have you noticed if you still get the occasional non-responsive back soft key?

I've been playing with this all day and I happened to have the navigation bar enabled testing some stuff out and I haven't had the soft keys become non-responsive yet, so just wondering if anyone else noticed the same thing or if it is just coincidence.

I have problems with soft keys no matter what ROM I use

If I update to 0.6.13.3 is there an option to revert back to the original ICS multitasking style rather than Sense 4.0 multitasking?

Not at this time. Sorry.

Mine doesn't always connect either. Most of the time it won't, but when it does, it does it right away.

You can just go into the wifi settings, long-press on the listed AP and then select connect. To get to the wifi settings, you can either go into the Settings as usual, or if you use the power widgets in the notification bar, you can just long press on the wifi icon and it will take you directly to the wifi settings -- this is the same for any of the icons--long pressing on them will take you to the settings for that particular setting.

Another weird thing that I noticed today is that the phone after being on charge the whole night , it still shows that it is charging. Look ...

ive had that happen to me a few times on a few different roms, for me plugging the charger back in, then sleep, waking and unlocking the phone, then unplugging the charger made it go away but it is strange

Happens to me all the time. It's just the phone. In other news I finally made the switch to CM9 from CM7 because my camera only takes pictures in black and white.. so I can't really use the camera anymore anyways. Holy shit CM9 runs like a dream. All the little odd-ball problems that came with CM7 are gone. ICS runs like a dream on this phone.

Glad to hear that doing that fixed it for you. Basically, it just sounds like for some reason, your phone and power cord was not getting a good connection for charging at that particular moment. It's weird I know.

Yeah I think that's what caused it because the power cord moves sometimes. Its worn out.

This may seem like a silly question (so I do apologize in advance), but how do you change the international call settings in this ROM? I can't for the life of me find it. :(

Thanks!

Liking all the updates and what's been done, but how easy is it to get back to stock ROM? HTC evo v is coming to Virgin the end of the month and with Android 4.0.3 to boot I can't wait to get rid of this lacking hardware. All at what appears to be the original price of the triumph.

theres a thread somewhere on here called 100% newb proof stock triumph, i believe maybe its b_randons thread, but i believe it should have all files needed so you can flash the phone back to stock just like you flash custom roms

for me if i even get the evo itll be well down the road lol im not willing to raise my plan price currently, and i will never pay for wifi hotspot, just that fact that there supposedly allowing it now for more money makes me mad
