Not really, but the instructions are pretty simple. I suppose one of us (or a few of us collaborating) will need to do a mini write-up to get everyone up to speed.
The problem is that most folks who have already rooted their phones also have played with alternate ROMs - a lot - so it is second nature to us as to what we're supposed to do.....
It appears to be doing something, but this something is not doing it for very long, right?
You have to extract the contents of the ZIP archive so that you get a new folder with content - if you extract the ZIP to its own folder, then you have nothing but a folder inside - and in *that* folder is where the important files are. However, Nandroid doesn't bother looking past the first folder - so if you have a folder in a folder, it will never install.
While I can sort of understand what you're saying, I'd venture that if you ahve your phone rooted already and have played with even a single alternate ROM, you should have the basics already down.
However, for the *new* n00bs that have just rooted their phone specifically for Froyo, you're right - this is gonna be a challenge.
You extracted the ZIP file to a folder with the same name - and thus there is a folder inside that folder where the files are, but Nandroid can't see past the first folder. Fix that and you'll be golden.
