Damn....ok, maybe I'll just wait for the full .340 SBF. I have the full .320, just don't want to do anything in fear of blowing up the forums with dumbass questions...

I dont know for sure, but I believe that you can still sbf back to .320 after the .340 update since the kernel and bootloader are the same. Could someone clarify?

I completely agree. But the issue I'm having is this:
When I firsted switched over to apeX, it syned my facebook friends, but about 50% of them the profile pictures never synced. I would have the little grey android as their pic instead. In an attempt to fix this, I went into my accounts, removed my facebook link, (which made photobucket my default), and re-added the facebook link (and then set the facebook back to primary) As a result of doing this; 1) The facebook contacts haven't synced at all (all gone), my Dialer App only shows numbers for people I had directly (obviously), and my contact app is EMPTY, save for 2 people. I've tried removing the facebook link from My Accounts and readding it multiple times, but no go.


As for the blur messaging, the script is in the first post:

su
messaging -mot

will switch you over. Take a look at the first post and the scripts, because there's actually a lot of options for programs...

Nope :(

I'm discontinuing support for 2.3.15 now that the OTA is official.

Getting on .320 or .340 is a good idea, as all ROMs will soon require it (my prediction, but I have a good feeling about this one ;))

I definitely like this ROM the best though and I've tried quite a few really. I like that it has just enough Blur because Motorola did add some nice features.

Provided your bootloader is 30.03 or higher, the .320 full SBF is all you need to do.

Otherwise, the update.zip to .320 works for anyone (and updates your bootloader to 30.04)
 
just installed 1.2.1 and im having a problem playing media files. my downloaded ringtones wont play neither will music. and videos i have taken on my phone wont play either. but all system sounds work just fine

Did you update to. 320 prior? If not I believe I saw fab say earlier the media wont play
 
Now I understand the meaning of fractured. I am on 1.0.2 and I'd like to get the 340 update. I'm not sure what to do to get that to happen... I've read that updating via OTA will brick the phone, and if so what do I do to get it from this kernel? Any help is appreciated... learning as I go here!

You don't have to restore anything just flash sbf but just know once you update to. 320 you can't use any of your nandroids from 2.3.15 anymore or you will brick

The only thing that I think is a little strange is that Google made the 3G icon really small. Not sure why but other than that, digging it!

so fab are we going to have to sbf or update.zip to .340 or will ApeX1.3 be a complete install upgrade over .320?
 
Looks like there is not much difference between .32 and .34. Even sbf is compatible. My guess we should be able to flash it over .32.
Fab, am I right on this one? :)
 
I guess I will wait until this new ROM comes out to worry about flashing anything, unless it's suggested I update now...
