Root [ROM] ApeX 1.3.1 for Droid X - Running, running, as fast as it can (12/16/10)

This isn't a ROM issue, it occurs when an app from the market incorrectly tries to install to the sd card. Here's a solution though:

Also, I have a newer version of the black AOSP MMS app here for those who want it. This has all the new bug fixes that were pushed to the Nexus S in the 2.3.2 OTA incorporated into it (i.e. clicking a thread and having it taken to the wrong one, messages being sent to the wrong people, etc.)

Ok, I've been using Apex since the 18th of December. I've noticed my phone just doesn't seem to ring as often as it used to(not kidding). 70% of my calls go straight to missed call, then it beeps and I get a notification. It seriously doesn't ring and I have reception. I don't get it.

Anyone else with this problem?
 
I finally figured out why my calendar has been force closing when trying to add events. It seems that the calendar needs the BlurEmailEngine.apk to add events. This is just in case anyone that was trying to stop some of the blur from running but use other aspects.
 
When do you plan to release 1.4?

No ETA on 1.4, but I hope to do a lot of work on it this weekend. Finally getting the power fixed in my house (putting a proper circuit breaker in).

Thanks! I had the BlurEmailEngine.apk frozen in TB, unfroze and it now works.

I ended up sbf'ing to .340 and the camera still doesn't work. I think at this point it's a hardware issue.
 
Safely and successfully rooted last night. It was a breeze with help from a few people and Fabolous, this rom is amazing, thank you.
 
I just installed apex last night coming from darkslide apex is so much faster!
This is my second rom on dx I have had for just under 2months just wanted to introduce myself I do have a few questions but will read all the wiki stuff bfore asking
 
Hey all, I installed apex today with the watermark theme. I'm getting the double text messages in handcent. I did the script that's on the wiki, but I'm still getting double messages.

Any ideas?

I switched back to LPP from ADW and now...no double messages. +1!

And now my next question...I'm themed w/ watermark'd and love the icons...is there an icon pack out there w/ more of them? I've searched and can't seem to find any...

Does anyone know how to change the font color on menu options? I'm running Apex 1.3.1 with the nexolution theme and whenever I go to say the browser and press the menu button then click more, the drawer that pops up is white font on a white background. Anyone else with this theme having this problem?
 
i had apex because it was the only custom rom that supported exchange. i have tried several roms...gummyjar, darkslide...liberty...no go for exchange (at least for me). apex is a great rom though.

the only problem i had was caller id. many times the caller id did not work. my screen was blank even when i let it ring several times.

initially, i thought it might be the phone, but when i went back to stock, the caller id issues were gone.

any way to clear it up on apex?
