I am using this ROm currently I used it for over 500 hours on before recycling the power...

So far so good..

This is the FIRST rom of about 10 I have tried that works flawlessly....actually is the first rom that is better than stock!

Is thereANY way to make the stock browser full screenwith this om. I refuse to give up the stock browser but love the full screen feature cyanogen gives me. Unfortunately that is the only thing I like. Cyanogen desnt have ad blocking built in or have a script for blocking ads (asfaik). The rom seems entirely sluggish and only provides ~35 free mbs with FEW apps running in the background. On BB .3 I got ~65. If there is any way to get a full screen stock browser I would switch to this rom in an instant.

(Written with stock bowser, lol)

So far everything has run perfectly since I rooted and installed BB v0.4. But yesterday I wanted to put music on my phone finally. Got everything transfered over and went to play it and I was getting a Force Close error that said process com.android.music had unexpectedly closed, and no music would play. Today the song plays, but the error still comes up and then stops the music when I click it.

Is this know issue that can be fixed easily, or will reinstalling the ROM fix it? Any ideas would be great. Im running BB v0.4 with chevyno1 ulv 800MHz kernel.

Something just happened to me. I cycled the power on my Droid and when it powered up the bluetooth wouldn't work at all. I rebooted it again and it connected just fine. Weird.

Electronics is NOT an exact science!

BB .5 info plus Pete's new backup tool to backup MMS, Call logs, etc!

Are You Prepared?
Bugless Beast V0.5 is making progress but not quite ready for release to the masses. On a lighter note, you should start preparing now. I have created a tool that will backup a few of the more important databases found on your Droid. Once you run this tool the following will be backed up to your sdcard in a directory titled "backuptool": System Settings, Browser Bookmarks, Call Logs, SMS/MMS, User Dictionary, and Market Downloads List. Please note, this tool does not back up your apps.

How exactly do you run these tools and scripts? Is there a tutorial somewhere out there? I don't even go into the BB Toolkit simply because I don't know how and I don't want to mess anything up. A little help would be much appreciated.

You just go into Terminal Emulator, then type:

su
scriptname

where "scriptname" is the name of the script you want to run (such as godmode, or cpuinfo or switchboot or, if you picked up the backuptool linked above, backup). That's all there is to it!

you can use the bugless beast toolkit that pete included in the rom even though you say you dont want to use it and go to script helper. click on the scripts and it pops up a window that gives you a definition to what it does and whether you want to use it or not. :)

Initial Setup: Both sprecovery and clockworkmod are supported. This ROM is in the form of an update.zip. Initial boot was very fast. All of my apps (20)/contacts/etc. synced in right around 8 minutes. Facebook synced just fine. I did have one issue with 3G not connecting on the initial boot, but a quick reboot fixed the problem.

Speed and Responsiveness:

-Stock Kernal: ROM ran very well on the stock kernel (7 slot peak at 800mhz). Very responsive when opening apps and scrolling is very smooth. Quadrant scored at 1153 on stock kernel.

-P3Droid 1ghz LV: As always I noticed a boost in performance with a bit higher kernel. Benchmark scored 1412 with this kernel. After a few days, it still has been running flawlessly.

Features: Auto CPU control (SetCPU app becomes optional), Hot Keys for Recovery, Reboot, Shutdown, and Test Menu, Script Helper, AD Block. These features standout to me, but there are many more features that can be seen on the release page.

Bugs found: As for now this ROM has been 100% bugless.

Theme-ability: This ROM has many themes available for it including X-Theme, Smoked Glass, and NexTheme. Other themes are available as well but these being the most popular give theme-ability 5/5 for Bugless Beast 0.4. I tested out all three themes and all installed smoothly. I noticed no decrease in performance with any of the themes.

Hows it Compare?
I found this ROM to be the best I have ran to date. It lives up to its name: Bugless Beast. Overall I give this ROM 5/5. There was nothing about this ROM I could find to dock any points from it.

I just recently flashed BB v0.4 and it ran perfectly for about 5-6 hours (with a decent amount of use) with no issues at all with the ChevyNo1 800MHz ULV Kernel Then all of a sudden (when the battery was around 20% or so - the phone kept freezing and rebooting. So I charged my phone to about 70% again and still the same problem. Then I switched to the ChevyNo1 800MHz LV Kernel and still the same problem.

Has anyone experienced these issues? Any advice.

I really dont think it has to do with the LV as I have always used LV kernels and have had no issues whatsoever with them (p3Droid 800MHz LV). Wait a minute - I guess I could just go back to p3droid 800MHz LV Kernel with the BB v0.4. I might give that a try.

Has anyone tried psx4droid on this rom? and also does wifi tether app work? cm rc2 does not let these two apps work and Im looking for a replacement. thanks guys.

Thanks guys. Much appreciated. Now, if I could only get the iPad hardware (which is crazy good) to run the Android OS I'd have the perfect tablet. :)

I saw a video of android running on the iphone ... I think you should do it !!!! and post a video :D
