[ROM][BETA] CyanogenMod 10 for the LG Lucid

Were you having crashes before? That'd be the real improvement.

It was crashing during games before if I spent too long in them without switching apps. That was the first thing I tested as well, it still crashes with the patch, but it seems that it might take longer to crash. I will need to test more before I can make a definite statement on that. On another note, X-Plore File manager seems to be more responsive now.

Does anyone know of a Adreno 200 GPU phone with an official Jelly Bean 4.1 ROM? I'm looking for sources for a driver pull to fix EGL.

LU6200 is rumored to get jb soon. Don't know which version and it's just a rumor right now.

Thank you so much, would you be able to find the Lucid 2 Camera app?

Yeah I have it, but I'm not using my computer right now I'll have to do it later.

Here you go: http://www.googledrive.com/host/0B6qm6EiEv6LSaEdtX2l3c1RoU2M
CameraApp3.apk goes with CameraApp3.odex or you can just get the deodexed apk. I have the whole firmware extracted from the Lucid 2 if you want anything else. Not much of it works, I never got the camera working.

Here's another test version with graphics drivers pulled from CM10.0 for the Galaxy Note GT-7000 (also MSM8660 with Adreno 2XX). Maybe this will improve the EGL issue. It appeared to boot with a screen, but you all should know the drill about backups by now. (The link is the same as an older graphics test version but has an updated file.)

Hopefully it works., I'll test it soon. Currently I'm testing to see if this app (Safe Charge) will fix the issue if anything. Also thanks for your hard work in trying to get this ROM 100% working properly AND for just making it.

Isn't that going to just keep the CPU running at higher levels?

Not sure, but I'm willing to try just about anything to get rid of the SoD/Random Reboot issue.
It's got 14 reviews, all positive, so lets see.

So I stopped touching my phone (and left the screen on) at 3:03PM. Usually the SoD issue happens after a half hour of that, so I've got Safe Charge on, now all I gotta do is wait.

3:28PM - Random Reboot.

Testing now...first boot touch screen didn't work, sometimes It's lag, I locked the screen, then it wouldn't light up (As well as the keys). So I pulled the battery, touch screen works and lock/unlocking screen is fine. After that, I uninstalled an app, then the screen froze, I locked it, wouldn't unlock and the keys were lighting. A random reboot occured. Restoring the backup I made before installing this ROM, it's pretty bad.

Sounds like you need to wipe cache. This version wasn't meant to fix sleep of death, it is an attempt to fix the reboots during game play.

So about the Camera app, any fix/replacement?

I've heard that other front cam video apps like Skype work normally. I'm sure there is a substitute camcorder app available in the play store that can serve as a temporary workaround.

Can I get someone to try this?

If you take your phone, and using volume buttons turn it up, then turn it down all the way, does the bar go all the way to the beginning? Or one away still?

For me it won't go back all the way where silent and vibrate should be, resulting in my phone ringing even when its on vibrate. Yet if I go into settings I can manually slide it all the way over.

Mine works fine.

Others too? May have to reset, can't have my phone going off.

Also, when you turn it down, you know how that icon goes from speaker to vibrating phone to speaker with a line over it?

Does yours ever show the line over it?
