[ROM][BETA] CyanogenMod 10 for the LG Lucid

Greetings,

Thought it might be worth posting STOCK baseband and firmware, in case something like my situation happens to someone else, or again. I can confirm this works on CM10 as flashed with the a3 ROM, with 4G, but "Invalid Destination Address" on the MMS.

Note: Looking further, I couldn't find the MMSC settings or anything in the GB, and there is a single APN for mobile data, but is it the same APN for MMS? the apn is used for data, but servlet MMSC seems to be used. Can you clarify this?

Update: MMS is working. Reflashed baseband after downgrading to GB, backing up everything, installing a3, installing 155 apps, backing those up, backing up firmware/baseband (posted link), and then confirming that MMS was still failing on LTE and 3G (didn't get the error, but it lagged out), I modified the MMSC on the APN's to confirm that wasn't the problem (just checking), my test MMS worked on the new phone. Something had to have had happened on the other phone (which I honestly remember a close to dead battery when I flashed the baseband) or I just had really bad luck.

Sir, awesome work. Thank you for the most nerve wracking days of my life and still reminding me why I'm going to be a engineer!

Shot in the dark: if you're following the instructions for installing this ROM, you don't need root until you've downgraded to v5 (Gingerbread), but the output in your original post is from the ICS root script (v7 or v8). Which one of those are you running? If you're on GB you should use the root script here.

The long-awaited B1 (unofficial 0320) is up. While I haven't gotten anywhere on front cam video or WiFi Direct so far, I believe the issues are minor enough to move on to beta. The package is now built from source thanks to PlayfulGod's help.

There is a chance that it will not install or bootloop due to the changes under the hood to a source compile, so make a backup, even if you flashed flawlessly before! No factory reset should be needed before upgrading from A to B, but a cache wipe will probably help things. Please let me know if the new package fails to flash or bootloops so I can iron out the problems early (logs, as always, help a lot if you can get them).

tried setting up my CWM in ROM Manager and now when i try to boot recovery, my phone just shuts off and has to boot twice just to work correctly. what do i do?

Before I flashed b1 i swapped the lib files from a3 and the front and back camera work.

Did B1's front camera not work before you made this change? B1's front camera should work for previewing and taking pictures, but using the video recorder on the front camera only seems to hang the app.

I didnt even try it on b1 before i switched the libs... i thought it didnt work.
Also this rom feels much smoother and more stable.
Thanks for all of your hard work!

B1 found bugs for me(on a3 as well)
No 4g or lte
Unable to send mms,(can receive)
Blue flash when switching apps in multi tasking

Where can I the zip? Do I need to wipe anything before installing?

The zip should be linked earlier in this thread, or in the all things root guide at the top of this forum. No wipe necessary if just switching basebands. If baseband still doesn't cut it, try a backup and factory reset to see if it comes back. I still have 4G so I can't vouch for a reason yet.

Out of curiosity, is your network mode (Settings > Wireless and Networks > More... > Mobile networks) set to "LTE / CDMA / EvDo"?

It was set to CDMA/evdo so I switched it,and I still can't send mms

So far, performance and battery life are better in B1. Just an FYI, Internal Storage still doesn't work, but other then that, perfect ROM.
