Root [ROM] CM7 with GB kernel by RevNumbers

It didn't work for me either, oh well.

All it does is add ro.battery_light=false to the build.prop. I added the line of text manually though instead of flashing the file in CWR.

I flashed back off of this because GoLauncher get all wonky on me. This is why I got off miui.

I'm wondering if there is a better and more compatibile launcher for these.

I use Go Launcher with this and have no issues whatsoever with it.

I love this rom, but the camera implementation is terrible. I can get about one picture out of the normal camera or the MIUI camera, then it just continuously force closes and won't open back up until I restart the phone.

Are you using the 10/1 build? If so that's the main bug within it. Flash the newest nightly, 10/6, and you should be fine. AOSP camera and MIUI are working flawlessly for me and the battery life seems to have improved, too.

I can't get the zoom function to work with either camera.

10/6 worked great. Thanks.

Could someone help me understand this better?

Blog | CyanogenMod

I'm confused over the difference of what I'm running (CM7 for GB 10/6 build), the nightlies, and now this "stable" version of 7.1 that's mentioned in the CM blog.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would also like to know. I also can't find the link to the new CM 7.1 download. Could someone please post it up? Thanks

^ I read over at Rootzwiki that the new 7.1 Cyanogen is still based on the FroYo build. The GB build is still in testing and hasn't been merged into the main tree yet.

Anyone have connection problems to the android market when connecting with wifi? I have an extreme delay when opening the market, it can take minutes to get to the front page. Internet connection works, so that's not the issue, if I switch to 3g it connects as it should loading in about 10 seconds tops.

2nd Edit: build 10/6
