Root [ROM]Cold as Ice for Optimus V [UPDATED] [A11]

Cai has video cam working, has the new cm9 code, has theme chooser, has lock screen customizations, is far more stable no reboots when installing, no fc of the app markets. You do have to flash the virgin Mobile fix, I have not had any luck getting any 2ext to work yet. I'll be working on figuring that out more tomorrow why it won't work for me. Quatrimus does have a native apps2ext which is very nice. Quatrimus is built for our phones while Cai is for the s, so once it gets into beta it will be focused strictly on the s and less and less will work for our phones while quatrimus will be focused on ours. Really quatrimus is just one step behind and will likely catch up soon which I will then move back to it. Remember this explanation is Saturday May 26 and everything can change with a new release which can be at any time.

I really do wanna try this rom and test it out, but installing the VM fix scares me a bit as I've read it has made some peoples connection worse (has that changed, too?)
 
Everything was going perfect, and then I went back into recovery to install the button/VM fix.... now the phone just stays on the CM9 boot animation D:
 
Okay, so I fixed by going back into Recovery and just flashing Quattrimus, but it can't find my backup... D:

did you flash a separate file for both the buttons and vm fix? That happened to me as well, so i had to reflash cai. The problem is the vm fix, I think. What I did to make it work was flashed the buttons fix and then flashed a different vm fix. This vm fix worked to make my cai run. After that I flashed Amphetamines and everything's working well!
 
Anyone know about an mms fix? I sent a picture email to my phone and all I received was the subject. I tried using the Go sms fix, same thing.
 
So everything's running really well now. I received a picture from a friend. I have almost no issues. The only thing left is to ask about the system memory. I have like 10mb left. I looked and it seems like the lib file is taking up most of the space. Can I remove any of that orrrr?

The fix for the keys didn't work for me, when I installed the zip for it when i went to reboot my phone it wouldn't boot past the cyanogenmod boot logo. (I think it has somthing to do with the framework-res.apk I just edited the key layout file to get them to the right keys.
 
I'm running CAI and I have everything working and I didn't flash any zip. I just edited a few files manually. To fix mms you need to change cdma.carrier.alpha.numeric in build.prop to the number corresponding to virgin mobile something like 310490. Change all the numbers in build prop that are 31110 (or close to it) to 310490 and mms should work.

Thanks for telling me that, i'll test it and if it works i'll add it to my zip. (The zip is for technically challenged people) BTW my name is Anthony lol.
 
Just want you to know that this ROM has the same issue with Bluetooth that other ROMs had, it gives the same address to everyone. This has been fixed on other ROMs.
