Edit: Remember you can use search terms on ebay like P970, optimus black, ignite, ls855, marquee etc. You may find better deals under some nicknames and some under others

My charger was busted in the exact same way. I tried to glue it, but eventually I just heated the end of a flathead screwdriver and used it to melt the post over the metal as it was obviously intended.

I found items out of China to only be a dollar or two cheaper, and for me, that's not worth the extra 2-3 weeks wait.

I just bought an extra OEM charger and data cable for less that 5 bux on Ebay. Not bad at all. :D

My brother regularly gets a day and a half to two days on his overclocked/undervolted Prevail :-) He's running CTMod w/KoumaKernel

One question: where is native email client? I want to use it for my company mail account (Exchange Server)
 
On the email app, as stated... it's in the removed apps zip. Just put it on your sd card and tap on it to install. That's :pthe email app I use. The Gmail app is too buggy for me.

In the first post there is a zip for missing apps, and instructions on how to flash them to your marquee. Bloodawn really makes sure he dots his i's and crosses his t's before he uploads a rom. :D

Question about the batts. Do they protrude from the back or can the standard back still be used? I just bought a phat case and want to keep using it, so if the batts don't protrude I will be buying some of those nice 1800 may batts...:cool:

If I were to do it again, I would buy the 1500mAh OEM batteries, as they're OEM and last as long as the AceSoft 1800's.

The 1800's fit perfectly in the phone with the standard back on, BTW.

As for your case, which did you get? I ended up getting a fishbone hybrid from eBay for ten bucks.

I got a metallic blue case from the boost store and is mad of aluminum.

i guess i might just go with oem and save myself some time and money
 
Some fixes/changes I would like to see in the future.

>remove the enter button while texting only. Leave it for forums or typing in general. There should. R a "Go" button while typing in searches .

Anyone can help me on this? I love this ROM but this issue is preventing me from using it.
Marky Beats v2 doesn't have this problem, but it has WiFi hotspot issue...

Some Chinese characters are shown as white squares. But not all, most are shown correctly. I thought Android has native support for multi-language but the font this ROM uses may have incomplete character set, just my guess.

Sorry I don't have screenshot available as I have to use another ROM due to this issue. Thanks for your kindly reply:)

I don't use the Chinese characters so I'm not familiar with this issue. Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you. Hopefully you'll get it figured out or someone else will come along that knows more about it than I do. :)
 
Just switched from optimus s and so far love this rom great work! I have issues with Google chrome randomly facing. Also when using telnav GPS phone fcs also on both stock kernel and hyper kernel 1.5. Did full wipe boot waited about an hour flashed hk wipe cache and delvik and fix permissions.

The chrome browser isn't really chrome it is maxthon browser themed to look like chrome, and if you have issues with apps fc, reflash your rom>reboot >reflash kernel >reboot.. as always wipe all caches before flashing any new kernel.:D

When I get a lot of apps FC'ing, I reboot into recovery and fix permissions under the advanced menu. Works *almost* every time. YMMV :)
